Rum Boogie Café and Blues Hall Juke Joint are essentially two bars joined by a metal door. Only the Rum boogie Café serves food (I believe).

There may be a cover for one of the bars on any particular night, you if you paid the cover, you can go back and forth between the bars. If you didn’t pay a cover, you shouldn’t go back and forth.

You’re almost guaranteed that one of the bars will have a great band playing. Good selection of beers and other drinks available. We saw the awesome Vince Johnson and the Plantation All-stars both nights we went to these bars – once on each side. The Blues Hall Juke Joint is smaller and the music seemed a bit more intense when we visited.

This small place exudes incredible energy. The band is fantastic, and the bartender's service is always prompt and friendly. Enjoying very cold beers here will definitely enhance your night

My fourteen year young son was in the International Blues Challenge in the youth category. James played four different venues although this one was the smallest, it was his favourite! The sound quality in it was fantastic as this was recorded on my cell phone.
