Just got a three shot mocha from a lady this morning. She burnt the milk, and she re used the puck to pull my shot and it's probably the worst coffee I've ever had in my entire life

I had the pleasure of visiting Memphis, and stopped by this cafe several times and absolutely loved it! The coffee and pastries are outstanding! I tried a few pastries, but my favs were the Lemon Gooey Cookie and the Chocolate Brownie. Dense, sweet, and flavorful—these pair very well with a black coffee (imo). In addition to the tasty treats—the customer service was great as well. Shout out to Adah for being so friendly and welcoming—you made my day. I highly recommend checking out this cafe for a pick-me-up!

We wanted some breakfast after staying at a place down the street. This place was really nice. Staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast sandwiches were amazing.

Nice cafe in the Cooper-Young area of Memphis. The staff were friendly and helpful during my visit. I went just as it opened so it wasn't crowded at all and easy to get in and out of. I had coffee and a few pastries and they were all good.

Ada is absolutely amazing. You would've thought she was the owner. Incredible service, she helped a whole group of 7 and didn't hesitate. She deserves the world. Amazing

The customer service is top notch. Also, for hot chocolate lovers, they use Ghirardelli's to make it RIGHT and delicious! Stop by, you won't regret it!

Nice, quaint location. Decent staff and nice selection of food. They’ve got homestyle pastries, and a nice quiet atmosphere in the morning. Used to have issues finding them open, but as of late summer 2023 they seem to be open consistently in the morning.Parking: Two options for paid parking: scan the QR code and used the website/app combo (slightly complicated) or pay at the stand (may not offer change).

Bacon was definitely of the microwaved sort but not terrible. I think this place has potential but the quality was not quite there. The trick in Memphis is to find that holy grail of great food, service and short or fast moving lines. I’d go here again if i was in a pinch but if I can make it better at home, i’ll just do that instead.

I visited on a Saturday about 11 am, and Bluff City was not crowded at all. I was greeted cheerfully by a worker who was not even serving me, and she rebated that they had been quite stressfully busy that morning. I ordered a mocha and it was quite good. I tend to view a mocha as coffee with chocolate, but my drink was better described as chocolate with a little coffee. It was smooth and creamy, quite a good drink, just missing the edge of coffee I was expecting. Perhaps if I'd ordered a smaller size? Next time I'll know to ask for an extra shot of espresso. The pastry case had not been depleted, so I ordered a brownie. I was offered to have it warmed, as it came from a refrigerated case. I declined, and ate it cold. The edges were extra dense and the center was deliciously creamy. There was just a hint of saltiness, and that added a sublime element to the eating experience. They're open 6:30 to 1 every day except Sunday, when they open at 8. Lunch menu starts at 10:30. Great anchor shop for Cooper and Young streets.
