Having a place outside of my home where I can hang with friends, meet new people, and have great beers makes it so much easier to get out and do something fun. The staff will have you cracking a smile on your worst day and their knowledge of boardgames is unbelievable. I really enjoy their extra activities like Trivia and Bingo. The atmosphere is chill (and not too loud) while still being competitive enough to be fun. They always have fun decorations up and cool art so there's something to look at when you are waiting for your next turn.
All the fun of hosting your own game night without having to clean your house, stock your fridge, or buy your own expensive boardgames.

I discovered B2B a few years ago and have since made it the staple hangout spot for myself and the handful of friends I held onto from college. It turned out to be a wise choice because, thanks to the warmth and openness of its staff and patrons, now that handful of friends has become a rotation of 30 friends and family. Friends show up once, then they invite their friends, and then those friends end up showing up more frequently than the original friends. Rinse and repeat for like 5 years and now I have a mini-cult of board gamers ranging from the timid and shy to the ones who pretend to be timid and shy before plunging a knife into your back (in game). It's all thanks to the hard work, sacrifice, and esteem of the owners and the employees that has allowed these beautiful public betrayals of trusted kinship to manifest in such a way that I hope it happens again upon subsequent visits. And similar to other reviewers, I have a competing gaming emporium three miles from my house. Yet myself and other friends drive the extra 20 miles to B2B because it's just that awesome.

Absolutely awesome place for gaming, hanging out, and food. There's always someone there playing board games, everyone is more than happy to show off the game they're playing, or even play with strangers. The food is great, the menu feels perfect for the board gaming atmosphere, and I always love grabbing some mozarella sticks as a snack to keep me going. The staff is possibly one of the best parts of this place. They're always ready to help, give recommendations on games, and just assist in general. Many of them are very knowledgeable about a massive variety of different games, and when they aren't, they're happy to learn a bit when they have the time.
I've been playing a game called Twilight Imperium 4th Edition here with a group, and the staff has always been incredibly accomodating (not to mention that they actually have tables large enough to fit all the pieces), and they've always worked with us despite being there for entire days taking up a table to play this one game. I've never been to any other tabletop gaming place that I enjoyed near as much as I do Board to Beers.

Board to Beers is a consistently welcoming environment in both its staff’s hospitality and in the sheer achievement of its goals as an establishment. With a library of games that expands beyond what any one person could reasonably play, and an ever-changing stock of local craft beer; there is truly something for everyone at this distinct Memphis spot.

A gem of Memphis. It shouldn’t be a hidden gem, everyone needs to check this place out! The atmosphere is super welcoming and the owner and staff always have the perfect recommendation for a game whether you’re a new board gamer or a seasoned vet. Plus, such a dope selection of beers. Great place to go hang out and play games with your friends or make some new friends. Family friendly during the day. The menu is small but it has something for everyone. They have a good selection of adult beverages.
The staff is friendly and the owners are very involved . You can tell that this place is a labor of love and I am glad to see that they will be moving into a larger facility this summer.
