great atmosphere inside
I enjoy everything I have ever tried with a pleasant surprise ...and look is upscale while down to earth at the same time
Always good food and great service, they never disappoint.
I’ve been to Ireland twice. This restaurant brought me back there. Food was delicious and were large portions. Definitely recommend!
Bog & Barley is an awesome addition to East Memphis. The desserts are hands down the best thing on the menu, don’t skip them. I frequently have large groups attend and some surprising stand outs have been the curry chicken, the cabbage steak, and oysters, all full of flavor and beautifully done. Most recently our server, Anastasia, was wonderful attentive, friendly, and made the whole night even better. Great food, great drinks, even better service.
Cassie the manager was amazing Joseph our server in training was great! The food was fabulous! We can't wait to come back.
Anastasia was a great server and very knowledgeable about the food choices. The Red Fish and grits, was scrumptious. First time here and will be back. Love the ambience too..❤️❤️
What an amazing place! Came in a Friday evening and was seated right away. Our server, Kameron C, provided the best service we've seen in a very long time. His beer, entree, and dessert recommendations were on point. The food was so much higher quality than expected. An overall excellent experience and not only will we come back, I recommend to everyone. The entire staff was professional and welcoming.
We had a lovely and delicious dinner last night, our first time dining at Bog & Barley. We thought the atmosphere and decor to be gorgeous and inviting and the service was fantastic. I did find the food a little too salty for my taste, but still extremely edible. I do have one complaint and suggestion about the Rainbow Trout that I ordered; the sauce and roe was served on top of the fish skin and in my opinion, it would have been better skin side down with sauce on the fish itself. The only time I personally would eat fish skin is if it was fried crispy and that is not the case with this dish. I'll be back, but I will probably order something else next time.

We are in town for the holiday and went tonight. Absolutely the ultimate in Irish pubs! GREAT menu ( the pork bangers and potatoes were beyond excellent). Coupled with great beverages and service, it was a first time, but thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. An amazing place, with beautiful decor from Ireland, particularly the vintage imported bar. If you are a Memphian, which we were, or just a visitor, it should be on your must go list.

I loved the Irish point oysters. They were so fresh tasting but so tiny. I wish this place served murder point oysters.
I enjoyed my food. I had the smoked salmon, squash, soup, and the oysters. However, only a few places can do bread pudding correctly. This is not one of them other than that very good.
