The food is really good here and has been for years. Everything is always fresh. As if that wasn't good enough, Bogeys has managed to keep excellent employees. Service here is top quality. I have never encountered anything here less than prompt yet warm and welcoming service. The parking is hellish but it isn't their fault the yoga place lady is too zen to share what they aren't using at mid day.

First time in Memphis and first time visiting this deli, and it absolutely impressed us. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more welcoming. We had my one-year-old niece with us along with my sister and mother — and anyone who’s been there knows that can make dining out a little tricky — but Boogie’s made it so easy and comfortable for all of us.
I ordered the Santa Fe Soup and the Reuben. The soup was homemade (all their soups are!) and the Santa Fe Soup in particular was incredibly delicious. And the Reuben? One of the best I’ve had outside of New York City — perfectly toasted rye, plenty of sauerkraut, great deli mustard, and top-notch corned beef.
Everything else we tried was spot-on. My mother’s chicken quesadilla was phenomenal. We shared a pasta salad, a potato salad, and a few homemade cookie desserts, and every single bite was excellent.
Even though it’s not really table-service, the staff checked on us a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed — especially for the one-year-old, who’s just getting into “real people” food.
Absolutely a five-star experience. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Memphis!
