Lady at the bar with tattoos is terrible. Drinks were watered down w/ so much sugar on the rim, I needed a makeup wipe. Really nice place but I think she was on her period or mad at her “bd.” I will have to call going forward and ask who is on the schedule before returning because she made the experience weird.

Where do I start!? I first came to Cameo for date night and I was impressed with the rather vibey northern bar feel. We had a burger and two old fashioned drinks, which we both enjoyed.
The service was quick and the service was great!
I came back after the Cooper Young Fest for happy hour with my girls and was so pleased to see that they have happy hour from 4-7 EVERYDAY! The bartenders are excellent, and took great care of us. We stayed for the whole happy hour. Everything is good.
We also got fries, which I highly recommend.

Cameo is one of those places that is truly something for anyone. A late night spot, a date spot, a part-time nightclub, a place for reunion and a place for a quiet solo time. An attentive but unobtrusive staff make that very possible. Try it out and if the vibe is too loud or too quiet, try it out again and I'm certain you'll find exactly what you're looking for. Want something different with a jazz of local Vibes. This is a great spot for anyone that enjoys cocktails. They have various types but also can make you an original of your choice. Lots of options for liquor. Guys and gals behind the bar are super friendly and if you’re a packers fan (which I’m not) they have the game on every Sunday.

I never really like to write reviews, but after a few days I figured I had to. One of the employees at Cameo was extremely rude and unwelcoming to me, and come to find out, it was one of the OWNERS. Thought about saying something, read one of these reviews that had a similar complaint, giving just 1 star, and the OWNER responded, in what seems to be a super characteristically catty and condescending way... So I don't know... Really a shame, I always thought the drinks here were cool, especially when they first opened, but whenever I'm in Memphis, I'm gonna have to skip Cameo. I sincerely and earnestly suggest that the owner, I think her name was Mary, should look inward and figure things out. Bummer.

Please always request an itemized receipt prior to paying. I have been double and triple charged multiple times and they don’t automatically offer an itemized receipt. One time I asked for an itemized receipt and the guy bartender denied me saying I had to pay first. Otherwise I like the establishment but I’m starting to feel this is purposely done to increase tip percentage.
