This was a disappointing dining experience, so much so that while we stayed three nights at the Peabody we did not return to the Capriccio Grill. We each had the short rib which was quite good, however it came with only a mound of gorgonzola mashed potatoes that were not even warm when served. The service was just adequate and the overall impression was a grossly overpriced meal not to be repeated.

Enjoyed the fancy butters and bread. Caprese salad was good but tomato slices could have been tastier. Spaghetti bolognese was plentiful with meat sauce. Server was not very friendly or personable. There was a rather long wait between appetizer and entree.

This was our first meal upon arriving at the Peabody Hotel. It was very nice and the food was quite good. After a long trip it was nice to have an excellent meal. I recommend the spaghetti.
