We got a cake for our sons bday! It was seriously one of the best cakes we’d ever had and expertly decorated. We plan to use this bake shop for all our custom baked goods going forward.

We got a Pokémon cake for my son’s birthday. Not only was it beautiful but it tasted divine. We will return and we know where we are getting our wedding cake from now!! Thanks so much to Stephanie and her team!

Dropped in recently as had a sweet craving and am always looking for a bakery (especially open on the weekends for us 9-5ers). Most excellent friendly service - first! And the cupcake - most moist cupcake (or cake for that matter) I've had in a long time. Pricing was solid with competitors. Icing was terrific - not too sweet and very creamy. Brought one home for my mom to try and she ate the crumbs! Worth the trip (from Southaven)!! Will definitely be back.

I ordered a dozen cupcakes for my sister's birthday. They are amazing. The icing is some of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend them. This family run bakery is warm friendly and very talented!

Some of the best cupcakes we have had. The frosting wasn't overly sugary or thick. The cake was fluffy and flavourful. I loved how they were designed and the staff was super friendly to my family. My little one wanted the strawberry but ended up eating the chocolate and LOVED IT. I ate the strawberry and was impressed it actually tasted like a fresh strawberry. I will most definitely be a repeat customer.

I had a lemon cupcake and it was absolutely delicious. The cupcake was nice and soft & the icing on top was so fluffy The owner was very friendly as well. I will be coming back !

This sweet (pun definitely intended) soul definitely delivered. I had no clue of what I wanted, I knew what I needed but could not convey it. Because of the professionalism of Stephanie, she understood my non bakery speak and rose to the occasion. The recipient of the cake was very happy and expressed how this cake was the highlight of their celebration especially since this cake reminded him of his hometown bakery. Now on to the cake because honey this is the most flavorful vanilla cake and this buttercream frosting just melted my soul! The colors are vibrant. The pricing was more than reasonable. She communicates very well and her demeanor was calming (considering I was panicked because I did not have a cake). The cake was smooth and moist. I recommend Carousel Sweets.

I stopped by this lovely bakery in search of red velvet cupcakes at the last minute. They were slammed with Valentine's Day orders, but the owners were SO kind and friendly and took the time to accommodate my order! These cupcakes are AMAZING! Fresh, sooo soft and moist! Exceptional customer service and a great product! I'll definitely go back!!!

Best brownies I ever tasted!!My auntie told me about this bakery and when she took me there the inside of the place was so beautiful and clean. Everything about it I love. Even the employees was so nice and friendly. I tried the brownies and it was sooo delicious. I’m most definitely going back this weekend. My new favorite spot to get my sweets. ??????

While visiting family in Memphis, TN area, came across this bakery. Wanting something sweet after taking in a movie, we took the three kids to get something sweet. The cupcake displays were tempting and inviting. With choices such as strawberry, strawberry crumble, Butter Biscotti, German Chocolate, Lemon, Banana Pudding, Oreo, Funfetti, Pineapple Coconut, Chocolate, to name a few, the five of us selected one cupcake each and one more for an even half dozen. After paying (very reasonably priced!!) we left, got in the car, and tried our treats. The comments from the kids, "Oh my, gawd!" and "Awwsoome" and in seconds, we had the treats devoured. That said, we all got out of the car and back inside the bakery to exclaim, "Our cupcakes disappeared!" The cupcakes were as near perfection as I have ever tasted of a cupcake (and I bake a lot and am quite good at it, too!). This time, we purchased an even dozen cupcakes to enjoy and share with other family members not with us at that time. Stephanie Mathews, shop owner, is a very warm and friendly person. A gifted and a genius baker, Stephanie takes time to get flavors just right and is creative in putting cakes and toppings together. She and her family work and serve as hosts to visitors to this clean, tastefully decorated shop. Care and customer service is evident from the outside all the way throughout the store and work areas. Being out of state, we asked if she shipped her wares throughout the country. That is a service she is currently working on providing. The quality of her baked goods and the service provided us ensured our return trip next time we come to Memphis to get more of her sweets. Carousel Sweets Bakery is a MUST STOP when you are in the Memphis, Tennessee (Cordova) area. Be sure and say "hi" to the family.

This delightful bakery is an absolute gem! I have frequented many locally-owned bakeries across the various cities I've lived in. I always prefer to use my money to support local business and the baked goods are usually much better, too! I used this bakery for my daughter's birthday and was utterly delighted by every aspect of the cake I picked up. First, the cake and icing were (independent of each other) delicious. Perfection. Second, the cake design was fabulously whimsical. My daughter adored this cake! Third, the owner was so kind and personable. I am not sure I can speak highly enough of this establishment to do it justice. Spend your dollars here for any cakes! I know I will.
