I am so hurt....I grew up in Memphis, while visiting family..wanted to try bbq. Online rating is good but if there was a such thing as bbq police, I would call them. The dry and tasteless beef brisket is sliced like cold cut Mets at a deli. I have never seen anything like that, hope I never see it again. The ribs are all out burnt an tough, and you knew that when you boxed it up. The pulled pork, perhaps was pulled and sat for too long as it's also dry. Not to mention there is barely a hint of real bbq smoke flavor. I am disappointed that this was my hometown bbq experience. Sad, just sad.

This was a nice BBQ spot for me and my sisters during our trip to Memphis. The meats were great, but the sides were just ok. And the sweet tea was on point! All in all, it was a good experience. The service was A+

Was able to enjoy a nice lunch/ dinner with my family. We were waited on and taken care of by the time crowdbegan to file in.Parking: Huge parking lot, lots of spaces available even out front.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get someone inside from parking lot in a wheelchair.
Everything was bone dry. Extra star is because they were nice ??♂️

Ordered the appetizer sampler to go. It was COVERED in seasoning (chips & meat cheese) ended up throwing away. Called back to inform the staff and employee answered as if that’s just how it’s suppose to be. Could not eat it if you order ask for NO additional seasoning to be added.

The lady at the counter greeted me very nicely and helped with deciding what to order. I was on a day trip from Arkansas the location was easy to find.
I love Central BBQ because it’s close to my home and the food is always so good! The staff there is very accommodating and the atmosphere is what I call Southern Hospitality at its finest.

My siblings and I had the best time. Tom was so kind and great to talk to. We really appreciate his kindness, and he was kind to everyone. Thanks, Tom. The food speaks for itself. When you walk in, it smells like heaven in there. That smoked sausage was on point. We'll be back. It's so sad that the location on Central had to close, Memphis isn't a safe place to be anymore, and it's so sad.
