Great food, cowboy ribeye was perfect, duck was excellent! Service from David R was exceptional! Pecan pie for dessert was on par with the rest of the meal. The ofd thing about this place is its location. But don’t let that scare you away, this is well worth the visit!

The steaks me and hubby had were so bland and not tender,we had better for much less. The service and atmosphere were ok. We were celebrating our anniversary but our waiter didn't ask,we overheard another waiter ask their table. We are happy we got a chance to go but definitely don't have to go back.

Birthday disappointment. It seemed promising - it's a very nice place and we were initially introduced to two people who said they'd both be taking care of us (party of 7). It was less than half full and we had reservations. We didn't see the waitress again. The waiter was very personable but had major issues in the drink department. I only got 3 (small) glasses of water in the over 2 hours we were there. He forgot about me, another person said they also needed water when he came around. He gave her water and not me... sitting right beside her with an empty glass. He did it a second time, filling mine but not my two neighbors. She shared with me but I owed her back with interest. He was hard to catch, it became a joke. I don't know that that's ever happened to me anywhere.
The fried green tomatoes were nothing special but they were fine. We enjoyed the crab claws and the cocktail sauce was extra good.
The scallops were some of the best I've ever had, though - great quality and perfect cook. The one who had chicken said it wasn't seasoned. One liked her carbonara. Steak ordered medium came rare. Boring green beans and asparagus.
We had blueberry bread pudding, a brownie, a third dessert I can't remember and some strawberry pineapple sorbet. All of the desserts were good. At the beginning of the meal he asked if we had an occasion. We didn't get a single free dessert and most higher-end restaurants include one.
The water issue was honestly so frustrating that it heavily impacted my experience. The mandatory 18% gratuity feels unwarranted - we were disappointed.
I'd go back if I was invited but I don't think I'd recommend it myself.
This restaurant is the full package. The food is extraordinary. The service is top notch. The environment is very pleasant with smooth jazz in the background. They have the best French Dip Roast Beef (Beef Eater) sandwich ever. I've had many of their dishes over the years and the food never disappoints.

I ordered the seafood carbonara. I want a change from a meaty meal. The entree was loaded in pepper the shrimp was overcooked and the bacon made chewing uncomfortable it was so hard and large chunks which I had to take from my mouth. I’m not sure why the cherry tomatoes were there which were soggy and unappetizing. It seemed like the chef just threw everything in the sauce.

I have to rate it a 4 because they were out of pork chops. I drive 2 hours to eat out for my birthday. Once we where seated the waitress told my boyfriend and I, we are out of crab claws, pork chops, and something else.

Service was lacking...we weren't important to the waiter due to him giving all of his attention to a party of about 10. It took way too long to get what we ordered or asked for. He kept telling someone else to take us things we needed. It was hard to understand him because he mumbled and didn't speak up when talking. Also, several people at the surrounding tables were on their phones watching videos for everyone to hear! I don't want to listen to that mess when I'm on a date with someone. We couldn't hear the waiter or each other. So, not recommended for a date unless you don't want to talk to each other. Also, the food ok. Nothing special and definitely not worth the high price tag. BUT...the brownie with praline ice cream was FIRE!! That's the ONLY reason I gave a 3 star rating. Lastly, when we requested to get the remaining food to go, they just bring cheap styrofoam boxes. No bag. And I expected for them to box it up for us...nope, you're on your own. We asked for a bag (because we had 3 boxes) and to go drinks. I will say, that the waitress that helped us at the end (not our waiter) was AMAZING!! Sweet young black girl with long braids! I know if she was our waitress from the beginning, the tip would've been a lot more than what we left. Not impressed and don't plan on going back anytime soon.
