It was all just “okay.” Nothing to write home about. It wasn't a memorable meal, where I left feeling like, yeah I'll definitely be back. The truffle fries were absolutely not good. The remainder of our meal was pleasant, but not what I'd describe as “good.”

The entire experience was horrible. I ordered redfish, five mins later the waitress comes to our table to tell me they are out of redfish. I ordered fish of the day, she had no idea how it was prepared. I ordered tea, she brought to me at the end of the meal. Our salt and pepper grinders were empty. I do not recommend this place! This is suppose to be a high end restaurant, I get better service at macdonalds. This place is a joke.
I was disappointed in the food at Char. I remember when it was a great place to eat. The green beans were shockingly bad. Our server was flighty and forgetful. Altogether not a place I will visit again.
