I went with my family on Sunday, June 16th, 2024. It’s Father’s Day, and we wanted celebrate my father. Well, if would’ve know the service that bad, I would’ve went to Kroger and got me some off brand ICECREAM. First off, we walked in and there no customers. The first red flag. Secondly, my dad asked if the ICECREAM machine was working and the cashier ignored him. She looked behind her and acted like no one was there. It smelled like old cheese. The only thing we wanted to order was ICECREAM. When she FINALLY looked up, my father’s repeated himself twice and she told a little boy, (about 9 years old) to go get 5 icreams. The little boy said no. “Go get it yourself” as he was sipping out a checkers cup. There was only 2 adults in there, and a minor WORKING. The lady by the window said “girl, get up and go make that Icre cream. So, unfortunately she did. That was the WORST I cream I’ve ever tasted. It tasted like pickles and mustard. NEVER COMING BACK.

Our food was TERRIBLE! The buns were burned, the meat tasted old and the fries tasted like they were cooked in old burned grease! We had to wait a long time. It only appeared to be two people working. We spent almost $40. It was a total waste of money. I will never return!

Service a little slow. The outside of building and grounds looks trashy. The frenchfries were hot. However, the Chedder Champ I received came just like I asked. The burger was not hot at least it wasn't pink inside. The sourdough melt that the outside advertisement advertized was not available anymore. This would've been a great place. I suggest clean up. If your waiting on hot fries, don't bag the burger first, let it sit in the warmer. Plus you might want to clean out your fountain drink spout properly tasted like a Sprite chemical. The taste was delicious. Fix it.
My wings were terrible! The service was great. The surroundings were kind of crowded, but the food was horrible! Absolutely horrible if I wanted to eat bones or food as hard as bones, I would buy dog treats.

Ya know this area in general is known for really bad fast food service, and most sit down places suck also.I do not go here often but I will say when I do the wait isn't too bad and my food is accurate. The staff definitely has barely any social etiquette but I'm not saying they are jerks either. More like you can tell they don't wanna be there and I'm gonna keep it real I can't blame them, a little customer service and pride in any job is a good thing and would help both the business and the employees as individuals both at Checkers and in their future ventures they take on.

I don't understand all the negative reviews, as many restaurants as they're on the street! When I visited this checkers my food was fresh, delicious, and it didn't take long for me to get it at all. As for the guy down below complaining about fast food workers wanting to make $15 an hour or more, they deserve it-FULL STOP! I don't work in fast food, but I know that fast food workers are some of the hardest working people in this country! Regardless of how you feel about what they should be paid, it was your decision to visit the restaurant! Maybe you shouldn't talk bad about the people who prepare your food, when you could go home and fix your own food, right? There, at your home, when something doesn't turn out right do you complain to yourself in the mirror, or do you fix it? Yeah, that's what I thought! Maybe a few people had a bad experience, but that isn't everyone's experience! Bringing up how much a person is paid when everything in this economy has become more expensive it's kind of giving "I'm a privileged AH..."! You didn't make my burger right, so you don't deserve to have a living wage, absolutely disgusting on their behalf! Visit this Checkers, get good food fast, and if there's anything wrong, ask that it be corrected respectfully! It's not that hard, actually it's basic human decency! But then again I forget about where we are, and you can't expect too much from Memphis people!
