I ate breakfast here because it was included in my hotel package. Service was great and I enjoyed the large windows overlooking the river. The food was lacking. I ordered the oatmeal with candied Pistachios and
Hibiscus Raspberry Coulis. They said it's steel cut oats, but it had an unappetizing slimy texture. The latte was just ok. I appreciate they had dairy-free milk. For a sit down restaurant I was surprised it was served in a disposable cup. If it were not part of my hotel package, I would have eaten elsewhere.

The prices are higher than what is posted on their website menu. The mobile ordering didn't work, and they don't serve breakfast past 10:30.

Wonderful ambience, decor and design, making for a relaxing oasis.
Let down by a server talking to my server, so I was ignored. Compounded by a scone as flat as a pancake, I've never eaten one that flat before!

I use to work at this restaurant and If it wasn’t for me they would have been closed down for two years instead of one. They can not keep good staff because of poor management. Very unorganized and over priced. I spent a lot of time compromising with customer because they never had inventory. I was embarrassed telling guest “I don’t make the prices” everyday guest would complain about prices. Five dollar just for a canned soda or water bottle. They built other franchises and took the staff from the first location to the new location without replacement. Although the food was good the management was weak. Reason why they have been closed for a year. Kitchen staff does not wear gloves. I use to make my own food or have it specially made. The rooms are not special at all. I was a barista, server, and room service all in one. I was not appreciated or paid for extra services I provided not in my job description. How do you tell a guest No? So therefore I was obligated to do the job. My hospitality took care of me far as guests!

Got there to find it "closed for renovations". No signs anywhere, nothing on Google to say that they were temporarily closed

My wife and I walked here hoping to find a great restaurant and hotel. This restaurant was well reviewed so we thought we'd try it. Since we weren't hotel guest we were refused a table but we're offered seats at the bar. We sat at the bar and reviewed the brunch menu. My wife attempted to order a mimosa and was told they didn't have any champagne. We left. Brunch at the Peabody is great! Go there!

Just had the most disappointing time here. Our server was AWESOME and set up for total failure. They were out of 3/5 appetizers, 2/4 sides, and 2/4 entrees. They were out of lemonade. I ordered a glass of cava which took 20min to get and was room temperature. The replacement glass of sparkling wine was flat. There were only 2 other parties in the entire restaurant - one a single and the other a 4 person - and my steak and fries took 55min. I ordered the steak medium and received it well done. At this point I just called it a day and asked for a box and the check so I could get my kid some dinner in our room since they were out of everything and get her to bed.The ambiance and view of the bridge was the only redeeming factor. For a $60 meal it was one of the more negative dining experiences I've had. We should have walked down the street to anywhere else.

They were really short staffed. The food was extremely basic and the chicken sausage was rubber. I will not be dining here for a while.

I made reservations on OpenTable over a month ago and when we arrived we were told they had not been serving dinner for over a month. No one bothered to call us to cancel the reservation.

Pathetic! Total Scam. We had a reservation for dinner at 7 pm. Only 3 tables occupied. One, a couple, left without being served. The only other occupied table was a small group. The restaurant was 95% empty. Ultra limited menu and not even all of that available. Cocktails are warm. Ask for chilled prosecco...took the glass back, shook over ice, and brought it back to the table. Luke warm, watered down, and flat. Seriously. Beer..no chilled glasses available. Only 2 appetizers ..Ceasars Salad and a Padron Peppers with lime salt. Are those actually appetizers? Ready to order entrees...Only 3 available. Informed it would be at least an hour wait...maybe longer. Again, seriously? Remember, we had a reservation and the restaurant is 95% empty! Sides limited to Roquefort fries and yellow rice. Our meal...2 orders of French French fries, warm watered down prosecco, and mediocre beer. Avoid this restaurant. Memphis has so many better options. Hyatt should be totally embarrassed to be associated with this scam restaurant.

I was so excited to eat at this restaurant! When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who let us know they had a limited menu. I appreciate her, but nowhere on the website did it state that. Also, if someone books a dinner reservation, and the restaurant is not having dinner, a reasonable person would think that a restaurant of the caliber would call. Also, I tried to contact the restaurant several times to confirm my reservation, and no one picked up the phone. Please be advised.

Stayed at the hotel, had to order room service on our Anniversary, due to no water. Cimas seemed like a great restaurant. Ordered 2 Bloody Mary's, only got one. Ordered Avocado Toast, Chilaquiles Verde, Anson Mills Grit bowl and 4 pieces of bacon, only got 2 pieces. Then to top it all off, nobody would answer the phone. We couldn't walk down to tell them we were missing items, No water to shower. Too expensive to be making simple mistakes.

Went for a date night with my gf. Tables are generally easy to get. We had the table overlooking the Hernando de Soto bridge with the light show going off every half an hour. Food menu is small but the dishes are well prepared. We had the seabass with crabmeat and it was delicious. I also tried their non-alcoholic cocktail and really liked (definitely worth a try). The best part is to spend some time at the amazing rooftop bar after the dinner. They have indoor space/lounge that works perfect during the winter time.

Went to the bar last Saturday and had the worst experience. A middle aged gentleman was working the bar who wasn't pleasant at all. My friend sat down and asked about the weekend happy hour specials and he told them "everything was special" and walked away. They had to ask more questions to get the happy hour menu. We went upstairs to Beck & Call where the service was extremely better but had to encounter the rude gentleman again due to the valet losing our keys. Valet handled things professionally and the manager treated us to drinks while he handled our situation. We informed the same cimas bartender that the valet Manger was getting a round of drinks for us due to keys being misplaced and the bartender said he didn't know who that manager was and kept working. We had to go get the valet manager to explain and even after that the bartender from cimas still didn't give us drinks immediately. He left the bar for about 6 mins and then randomly came over to us to ask what we wanted. When he returned with our drinks we told him thank you and he said nothing just walked off. I'm not sure what this man's problem was but this is unacceptable. This hotel is new, extremely nice, and not inexpensive for someone to be that nasty. If something is going to be labeled as fine dining or upscale the service should match and it didn't. We can't have establishments of any kind giving piss poor service! Hopefully, my next experience here will be the opposite of this one
