Have gone twice and been pleased with the food both times. The first time I went for lunch on a weekday with a colleague, and the second was a Friday night pre-theater dinner with family. I love the funky local art atmosphere. The tables have curtains that could be pulled around each individual seating area for privacy. Standout item I remember: kung pao Brussels sprouts (so good) Service was ok but not amazing. We were left alone a while both times.

The food and service was ok. Nothing to write home about. Very stuffy and needs more ambiance. Just ok

Food is good, design is modern and clean, looks great. Service is not good at all and is poorly run. Host is over extended and wait staff think customers are a bother. I would not recommend unless you have 5 hours to spend waiting and eating

Highly recommend Memphians Hotel for brunch or lunch, great food options, great service and great music!

Had dinner here. It's in side the Memphian hotel near the lobby. Love the decor. It's unique. Had the ceased salad as a starter. It was a large portion with lots of parmesan. For my main meal I had the mushroom pasta. It was so good! If you don't like mushrooms or kind of like it I would not recommend you to get it. It has a great flavors of the different kinds.

Restaurant is beautiful BUT waiting an hour for brunch is ridiculous! Ppl came in after us ate and left. We made a reservation and all for nothing! I'm currently still waiting on our food. Horrible experience for my parents anniversary!

I dined here for my birthday with my brother and sister in law! It was my first visit and it didn't disappoint. The decor is upscale and beautiful. The staff was friendly, and the food- oh my! We had the best brussel sprouts ever, the portion was large enough to share. Perfectly prepared salmon- crispy outside and moist deliciousness inside. The sorbet duo- amazing! We absolutely had to try the Cooper Street Burger- delish! The wild berry and lemon flavors blew me away! It made up for not having birthday cake. I'll be back for all my favorites and then heading upstairs for cocktails!

Fabulous! We had 4 different dishes, along with an appetizer & dessert, & everyone was well-pleased! Beautiful surroundings, convenient location, & a great meal made for a wonderful girls' night out!

I travel to Memphis every week for work - the Memphian and the Complicated Pilgrim is "home away from home". If this is home, then Tasia is like my favorite neighbor! When you come here, definitely ask for her. She is lovely, quick, and a genuine hard worker (I think she is here almost every day). We ate here for the first time because it is convenient, but we keep coming back because of great staff and people like Tasia! Plus, the fries are ~excellent

What a difference a few months makes! Late last year, we had dined at the Complicated Pilgrim twice and while the food was very good each time, the service was abysmal. I am happy to say that management reads and reacts to reviews, and the changes they have made are GREAT! We had Celia (hope I am spelling her name right) as our server the other night and we couldn't have asked for better service. She was attentive without being intrusive, offered great suggestions, and even put our order in before an order for 18 people! We hope that this level of service will continue to match the excellent food.

The service was excellent and the food was an amazing experience with flavors and textures that perfectly paired. Everyone remembers the details there- from The Memphian manager, Bobbie Peppers, to Evan Potts the F&B Director, and our server Tasia Tate, they made the evening special as my husband and I celebrated our birthdays. It was really nice.

Went to complicated pilgrim last night for the first time. Loved the ambiance of the place! The artwork is all very interesting and fun to look it. I had a G & G cocktail- delicious. The brussels sprouts were by far my favorite thing and I am so glad we split them for the table, we had 5 people and it was enough for us all with a cheese board. Tasia was our server and she was fantastic. We never wanted for anything. I would return. Thank you Tasia for the hospitality- and for being so sweet to our Gigi :)

We chose the three course experience and it was delicious. The shrimp entree was amazing with huge perfectly cooked shrimp and thick crusty French bread with this buttery spicy sauce. It was so good.

Meh. I've been here several times and the every dish I have gotten was wonderful! The last meal was underwhelming simply because the bartender serving was absolutely a killjoy. Walking off before you could even finish a sentence. no smiles & grumpy.
