I ordered the Ole timers with chicken sausage. The sausage was so greasy it had my plate soaking wet. My waiter who wasn't very English fluent, so I asked for a manager. After 20 minutes a someone came and took the plate and apologized. Then bought me the plate back with the same food on it and cold. Now the food is greasy and cold. She did take it off the ticket but I left there still hungry and mad !!!!!

If it was possible to leave a zero star review I would! Absolutely the worst service we’ve EVER had, was seated promptly and that’s where it ended. After 10 minutes I had to ask for a waitress, 5 minutes later we saw one, ordered drinks & food all at the same time then sat for an hour while other waitresses tables were fed. Then our waitress when asked said “oh yours is up next” and 3 other tables were fed. Spoke to manager & then she disappeared, once I found her & told her we were leaving, there was no offer of compensation, nothing other than I’ll figure out what happened and talk to her. Table sat down beside us before we left and their fate seemed similar to ours so I told them, they left too.

I will never eat there a gain the food was not cook like you won't it my husband chicken was not cook all the way the waitress at like she slow it was just sad I will keep going to the one in Southaven is better

I group of us went. Unfortunately, they assigned a waitress who wasn't ready for a large group. It took us at least 20 minutes to get some water and 30 to get our. Some people didn't get theirs until 40 minutes. The manager should have checked on us and gave this waitress some help. I ordered a salad and the chicken was tough and the silverware didn't arrive so I could eat my soup. It wasn't a good day at Cracker Barrel.

Service was horrible waiter was slow and confused and definitely not attentive.Last but not least they gave us all food poisoning.Bad enough we went around noon on a Wednesday at that and they had little no customers yet the wait was still insane ..But to finally get food and get food poisoning is just diabolical..Stomach started griping with pain and nauseous within 30-45 min of eating ATP 🏃🏽♀️ dnt walk run as far from this location as possible even the managers are a joke. You’re better off eating at McDonald’s were the ice cream machine is always broken then stoping here save your money and stomach ✌🏽

We went to the Memphis, TN restaurant on Sunday, June 29. There were hardly any customers in the restaurant and we waited over an hour and a half before we finally got up and left. Our waitress did at least come and apologize for the delay but we weren’t the only people leaving due to not being served in a somewhat timely matter. We saw many online orders going out the door but not many of us in the dinning room were getting our food. So sad to see this happening at one of our favorite places to eat.

Took a while to get our food. Meal was good/alright. I'm from out of town where cracker barrel is a staple and food is 10/10. So may be just me. Biscuits were cold. A different waitress actually gave me one refill because she saw my glass sitting there empty for a while. I got the maple bacon grilled chicken it was moist and tender and had good flavor. With Mac n cheese ALWAYS and steak fries. I did ask our waitress 3 times for ranch and a refill twice and never got either until we were ready to leave. I did leave a tip though. That just me. My partner got the roast with potatoes and carrots ect.. some of the potatoes werent done all way. Could be better.

Ricci was my server, and she is excellent. She made sure I didn't need anything. She is very nice and sweet, and professional. She made my experience pleasant. I will always ask for her.

So we are in Memphis for baseball tourney, and this CB was close to our hotel. We love cracker barrels, and we eat there at least twice a month in Nashville as family, usually after sports. As we pull up, we notice this cracker barrel was dead for Saturday afternoon at 530, but it was raining, so we assumed it was just a slow time. You know, old folks, they aren't getting out in bad weather if they dont have to, so we thought cool... we can get in and out pretty easily, being it's dead.
Well. We were wrong. There were literally 10 tables with people at them,I counted. 4 waitress and 1 waiter. I know understand why this cracker barrel was empty. 10 tables , maybe 25 people. I didn't count head count, but we ordered at 545 and got our food at 640. We didn't order anything crazy. Normal food that is usually already prepared. Meatloaf, stuff like that.
To be honest, I dont think it was the waitresses as much as I think it's the kitchen. I will say the male waiter was kicking butt. He had everybody right. Our waiter.... not so much. Almost seem more like her social hour rather than her job. She brought our first round of drinks when we got there and our next round when we asked for the checks. Basically, we choked down the food with nothing to drink. The food was actually warm and decent, or I wouldn't have paid for it. So I paid and left 20% tip against my better judgment but knowing I was coming to here for a review.
We actually read the reviews while we were waiting for our food and thinking o boy, we should have read these first. Lol. Anyways , cracker barrel management, as a big fan of every single cracker barrel I've ever been to this place, is due up for an overhaul and some changes.
Yes, I know it's Memphis, but just close the store if you are having trouble finding dedicated employees. As an employer in Nashville, I completely understand that nowadays, you bite your tongue more than we used to have to have to with bad employees, or you wouldn't have none at all. However, in the long run, I think it does more damage to a company than good.

Absolutely horrible service. We had to ask for water three times and never received them. We ordered a meal and the chicken fried steak was never brought to us. We asked for it and sauce along with water and napkins for the third time and waited for thirty minutes. Eventually we had to find another server to ask our server for the check and left.
