The food is really really good. The issue is no one ever answers the phone. The menu changes so I would like to be able to call and see what is being served for the day but since no one answers there’s a lot of days that I don’t even go.
This place is really a hidden gem. I wanted Turkey today and was pleasantly surprised to find Turkey wings. Big and Baked to perfection. I paired with it some spaghetti and pinto beans. I love a good bean and boy did you all get it right. Nothing too salty or over cooked. Tastes just as good as it did when I was introduced in over a decade. One plate big enough to feed two. No extra fluff just good ole soul food!
The first time I got the smothered pork chops they were amazing. These last two times they were over cooked and very dry even parts were hard to eat. I usually love their food but I won't buy the smothered pork chops again.
