Best greens I've had in a long time, top tier fried fish, perfectly balanced maccaroni, and the staff was the friendliest your going to find anywhere around.

Food was okay. I was just hungry. They are stingy with the food. Just because someone’s small, doesn’t mean they don’t eat.
Looked like a drug house and chicken shack. Food looked like it’s been sitting out a while all dried out. It We went in turned around and left. Police needs to come raid this place. White man sitting in parking lot. Wonder if he was there for something illegal!!!

This place was suggested to me by a very young family member. I went with her to South Memphis. The parking was jammed but accessible, which is not a big deal to me, if good food is cooking.
But once inside, I couldn't help but notice, the workers were on the "ratchet" side...
The lady who appeared to be supervisor of the crew was not professional with her explanations...
When asked, could I wait for the next pan of lasagna, as there was only one serving of leftovers from the old pan...
She repeatedly said, "they already put it on the plate and I will have to throw it away, I can't do that!"...
I told her the first time, it wasn't a problem, no worries, I'll take it, it's okay.
But the young lady who came with me, was not satisfied and said to me it was not okay, her attitude needs to go...
I remained cordial and polite and patient as I finally received my food to go.
But the youngster with me, told me she couldn't take the girls behind the counter, rolling eyes at her and making sneery remarks, and said they had the worst "hood" attitudes ever towards her... She referred to it as a Memphis mentality.
I suggested she not match or sync behaviors. Simply, don't do business with businesses that don't uplift or motivate your spirit. There are too many great places in Memphis, that are really hidden gems.
I know this is long, but most people were getting food to go there, I wondered why?
When I got home, the lasagna was good but I've tasted better.
The greens were too salty for my taste, possibly canned though.
I liked that the cornbread muffin didn't taste like jiffy mix and the candied yams were not over sweet.
On a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the highest:
Location: 2
Customer Service: 1
Food Taste: 3
Google Maps: 5 ?
That's just my opinion, personally I've had much better, but depending on what one like, they may love it.
The young lady told me, if you like "ratchet" then you might love it. She needs to do her own review, lol
Final Take: It's nice to be nice when someone is in charge of your food intake... Unless you decide to walk away and not buy it, and still be nice, because that's an empowering feeling...

The food is good BUT! the service is terrible the people have been extremely rude every time l visit this restaurant. I hate my 80year old mother loves they're food but every time l go there with her theyre rude.Where the good is displayed its so dark you can hardly see the food. I would've went back if it was not for my mom. Customers don't deserve this treatment . Honestly l will be praying for these people for change in Jesus's Name.

This was the most unprofessional restaurant I've ever attended in my 72 years, employees were very rude, no head covers, they had red hair, orange hair, food was selling out too fast and one girl came out the kitchen using profanity about if the manager keep rushing her she was going home! That did it for me I refused to even eat that food and walked out! They need code enforcement bad over there!
