Will go again. Bartender was awesome and was down to earth. Love the atmosphere.

Very neat place to grab a drink. Loved all of the options, and the vintage decor. Bartender was okay, she seemed to cater much more to regular customers, and brushed off first-timers. Cool one-time experience, but probably won't return.

Yep, another 5 star cocktail bar! Super cute, GREAT drinks and the ambience is perfect. Intimate space for about 12 people. Everyone friendly and service is excellent.

This was our first time at Bari. We probably enjoyed the antipasti most of all. The goat cheese fritters were very good and the mussels were astounding. Honestly, it was was the broth that took our breath away! We then had the spaghetti carbonara and the little ear pasta for our second course. Both solid. The entree's, a portabella dish and a steak were both pretty unmemorable and the desert, a fruit tart, the same. Not a cheap meal, but not really outrageous for fine dining. The spot is warm and intimate, but nothing fancy and a little worn out. The servers were a bit more aloof than I prefer but attentive. We will probably return!

This is an intimate, dimly lit lounge with a knowledgeable mixologist. I visited here while on vacation with my girlfriend and this might have been the pinnacle of our trip. Samantha, our mixologist, did a fantastic job of crafting some well known drinks and her own creations. Upon arrival, the room was pretty quiet, which allowed for great 1 on 1 conversation. The next wave of patrons were slightly louder and in such a small room it becomes difficult hear each other. Altogether, it was a great experience.

From the drinks to the food to the service, you will not be disappointed. The pasta is great and in a nice proportion to not fill you up. The appetizers were good ( calamari and zucchini fritters), but would be even better with some sauce on the side. The drinks were tasty, and our server was outstanding. Nice place to get some good Italian food.

Bari is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Midtown Memphis. The food is absolutely divine and the service is top notch. If you're looking for a break from the norm then Bari is where it's at. Enjoy!

This is a hidden bar within a restaurant. It’s a tiny spot upstairs. The drinks are made by a mixologist, and they can mix up some very special concoctions. It’s definitely expensive, and I’d only have one drink there for the experience, but the experience is worth it.

Bari is a small, intimate restaurant in the Overton Square area. It remains one of my favorite date night places. The dining room is small with good acoustics, so you can have a normal conversation - no yelling to be heard and it’s not so quiet you are afraid to talk. Just right. The dinner is in great course serving sizes. We always start with a cheese plate for the table, split a salad, have a pasta course and entree each. The servings are a nice size to get a wide variety of tastings and be satisfied by the last course. The wine list has a nice variety at decent price points. The servers are always knowledgeable- so suggestions are good. It is small, so reservations are needed - but go early so you can enjoy one of the two bars. There is one when you first walk in, and a small one upstairs as well. Both have excellent specialty drinks - and the bartenders are usually chatty but not intrusive. Because it is upscale, but not stuffy, with small portions, we have taken well behaved children for special occasions with the appropriate “fancy dinner/best behavior” pre-chat. There is not a kids menu, but the pasta courses are a good size. They should be prepared to be in their seat for a while - so maybe bring that iPad and don’t go too late. The location is great for mid-town post activities like plays or concerts. The pricing is not cheap, but reasonable for the great quality and good quantity. Bari really does strike a nice balance in so many levels. It will always be at the top of my list for a night out.

The best cocktails ever. Vincent is a virtuoso (see what I did there?)! If you've never been, you should go. If you've been, you should go back (but not on days I want to go with my darling wife.)
