Don Don Hot Wings Bartlett

Chicken was served hot but the seasoning was limited. The prices are a bit high and they charge for sauces and refills. Friendly cashier though.

Wing were horrible I ordered 15whole wings with season fries fried hard season and lemon pepper wet. There was no season on the wings and the wings tasted like vinegar. I paid over 40$ for some bs I can’t even eat.

It has gone downhill. They used to have excellent service and the wings were significantly better than they are now. Now, the new people they’ve hired act as your very existence inconveniences them… which is strange, given the fact that their paychecks rely on whether or not you patronize their business.

The location on Austin Peay is better than this one.
Also, a heads up: ranch (or blue cheese) no longer comes with your order. ALL ranch and blue cheese is now an extra charge. For this reason, I’d recommend skipping this place altogether. You can find better value at any of their competitors.

Don Don's in Bartlett. Has the best wings and the menu is huge. Turkey legs, multiple flavors of smoked sausages, chicken gizzards, livers, mushrooms, green tomatoes, oakra, burgers, salads,chicken sandwiches and much more. Stop in and see for yourself. 👍

Don-Don is *the* wing place. Their whole wings, their sauces, their seasoned fries, their rolls...all amazing. As a self-proclaimed mustard hater, their honey gold (mustard based) is the best tasting wing sauce I've ever had, and it's the only sauce I will get from them. That should tell you how delicious they are!! If you want something that's not wings, try the fried green tomatoes. Those are hard to get right but man they are to die for!

All of the employees are easy-going and nice, but Cliff is the best. He is so kind!

I also appreciate how they never get your order wrong, even though they get it prepared fast.

I’m really disappointed with Don Dons Wings in Bartlett. Every time I order, they keep giving me these hard, overcooked wings—even when I specifically DON’T ask for them to be fried hard. It’s like they don’t care about how the food turns out. People spend their hard-earned money and wait 30-40 minutes just to get food I wouldn’t even feed my dog! If I wanted to chew on rocks, I’d go outside. Please do better, because right now, you’re losing loyal customers.

I've order the turkey leg from Don Don's a few times. Love it. Only place I know that sells a turkey leg year round.

Their wings are great too. Everything is. If you order okra or one of their other side items, they're always generous with the portion.

How sad when a business stays to not care about what they serve to their customers. I read the recent reviews i thought surely they could not have changed in 6 months or so. I WAS WRONG!! The comment about the refried hard dark wings, LAS lady you were totally right And I will not go back to that location not even to get a bottled water. How can I make a call in order and be told 20 minutes for pick up and the food is hard as a brick. Remind me of Curtis Blow rap song when he said the chicken tastes like wood SMS the celery and carrots, still waiting on them to appear. Could not believe it!! I don’t know one person who would not pay more to receive great food. DON DONS on Bartlett Blvd. Get it together. I really hate to see another black business not care about staying open. SMH

I've been going to THIS particular location MY ENTIRE LIFE I have pictures of me in the window before the chickens got there😅. I have never had a problem that wasn't fixed up on bringing the food back/calling just to let them know the grease was old. With all that being said THEY NEVER MISS my food is always up to expectations and I've NEVER encountered someone rude, maybe stern but rude?? I love this location and I LOVE DON DONS BARTLETT. Keep doing what you do baby and make them rules FRONT AND CENTER. Crispy and Hard are not the same thing! ❤️❤️❤️

This place has absolutely went DOWNHILL!! On wednesday 4/30/2025 around 7:30 i went to dondon’s on bartlett blvd thinking i was going to get some freshly fried wings. Just to wait an hour and get home to HARD BLACK WINGS. The wings that i received weren’t fresh at all they tasted like they were fried earlier and dipped back in the fryer and tossed. I ordered a 15 piece honey hot and seasoned wings. I called the restaurant when i saw that my wings were hard and the “ granddaddy “ said that i could bring them back. I drove all the way to bartlett just for him to yell and tell me that nothings wrong with the wings. It was clear as day that they were OLD. He has a nasty attitude and i hope that he knows being old and mean isn’t a good look! even his granddaughters face looked like that she knew that he was wrong. I will never spend my money here! There is a difference between FRIED HARD and OLD CHICKEN. I was nice and understanding until he raised his voice. do business better next time you OLD HAG! ALSO HE told me that i wasn’t getting a refund which i never asked he said he could remake them i was fine with that until he got the attitude which made me not even want anything from this establishment EVER again.

Two visits. Went second time for support black owned business day. Was disappointed in the turkey burger. Was expecting homemade thick, juicy burger. Also have had their seasoned wings. Will order next time wet. Willing give another try. Friendly workers. Decent prices.

Sent my son to Don Don's. Hot wings almost hard as a brick. The 2nd time getting them like that. Good taste to them, but I don't think I'll be buying anymore from them.
