I came down from Kansas City to eat here and expectations were high. They did not disappoint! For those that frequent bbq joints, the vibe and smells were amazing, the folks working there were super friendly, and the food was delicious! I had the steelhead trout taco and the brisket taco. The photo doesnt do em justice because they were loaded up with meat. I hope to make it back there to try their ribs!

Over the years, I’ve come across many positive reviews on TripAdvisor, Yelp, Google Reviews, and other platforms, which led me to finally give this place a try. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
The half rack of ribs I ordered lacked any true smoked flavor—they tasted as though they had been oven-cooked and then charred afterward to give the appearance of being grilled. Additionally, the chicken on the BBQ nachos was dry and completely lacking in flavor. In fact, the dish was so unappetizing that we ended up discarding it.

I had a catering order for 15 people, and everyone loved the food. They kept complimenting it and asking where I’d gotten it. I also appreciate that my order was completed on time, was reasonably priced, and an employee helped me bring the food to my car. Definitely would recommend them for catering again.

We googled best BBQ in Memphis on our way to Texas and Elwoods came up. Google did not lie. Not only the best BBQ, the best fish taco, corn chowder, potatoe salad, brisket philly wrap, ribs and more. Everything we ordered was amazing. This is a must visit. You will thank yourself for stopping.

Great little hole in the wall place. We went here because they were open past 6pm and weren't disappointed the boneless rib sandwich was absolutely amazing will absolutely return soon.

I work in the food industry. I’ve been to this original location three times of it last four years and also to the one in Midtown always been amazing. I don’t know what happened. I just spent so much money in an Uber to get there and take a friend there. Literally old Mayonnaise what a waste of $50 plus an Uber the chipotle mayonnaise they called back in the day, which was one was literally stale mayonnaise with a few chopped pieces of red pepper so disappointing and I never complained about food do better. This was my day off and I have been waiting to get y’all sandwiches for weeks and been so excited. What a disappointment I’m gonna say it again what a disappointment. And I truly like I’ve said, never complain about food. It takes a lot. My stomach hurts from that so much the Italian sub🤮 It was delicious on the Highland location

At the tail end of breakfast rush! Missing my opportunity to review the breakfast menu I was introduced to the Brunch menu must have been fate I was confronted with a BBQ Benedict! So amazed at the concept definitely on of my new favorites Be back for the breakfast earlier next time!
