Very nice place. They rent the space out for different events. I have attended two events here and have not been disappointed.

This place had high marks but looked a little run down when I approached. Bathroom was filthy and my BBQ beef sandwich was half fat. Very disappointed! Price was reasonable but definitely would not return.

Greay Ribs and wings that are truly jumbo! Very nice staff and clean restaurant. Over all great experience, good place for the family as well. Don't be scared of the look of the outside great food awaits

Had the dry rub ribs. Awesome. The next week I had Memphis style dry rub ribs in NY - no comparison. Wasn't that crowded when I showed up - but it was raining on a weekday. Both the staff and patrons were very warm and welcoming.

Yes. If you get a chance, do this. TN bbq is not like sweet southern bbq that I'm accustomed to. There's a mild kick in the mild sauce with spicier versions available. Was a good wholesome meal. Came with two sides and two bread slices; ask for butter for bread. I got the 4 bone ribs, only ate 3, the beans and potato salad. Would return in in the area; staff are frequently too! Sweet tea is REALLLLY sweet;) Mixed beans with potato salad cuz I do that sometimes, yum! Second layer of ribs wasn't coated with sauce so essentially got to try the dry rub option. Not bad!

Food here was pretty good! :) I was feeding the baby and by the time I got to eat it it was cold though :( think it would have been better hot.. the bathrooms where not that clean... and I wanted SPICY and mine were not really hot at all very disappointing. Definatlly worth a try though if you are in the area!

Where do I began to tell the story of our Cozy Corner experience. Don't let the outside appearance fool you...Don't judge a book by its cover Walk on in and enjoy the wonderful staff and tasty food. We had the rib tips, and bologna sandwich and several sides. The tip's flavor was good but there was not much of a chew and they were wet. The barbecue sauce was divine. It took the tips and fries to another level. Yes, try sauce on your fries you will thank me if you haven't tried it before. The sides were excellent. The potato salad and coleslaw tasted family made. The beans were okay. The corn was good and hot. The French fries were hot and cooked to perfection. We had to get a second round since we mowed through them so quickly. They were fire!!!! We had opportunity to talk with several patrons/regulars. They were leaving with happy faces and empty plates in most cases. The service and food is what many of them mentioned. We are taking dessert to go...chocolate cake...can't wait. Don't miss out on this Memphis Treasure!

Stopped here because it was on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives fur their BB Q Cornish hen and bologna sandwich. It is nicer on the inside than the outside would lead you to believe. Standard BBQ menu with the exception of the Cornish hen and the BBQ spaghetti. Joan got the spaghetti and potato salad as sides to the ribs. The ribs were were good, meaty and tender with some smoke flavor. BBQ spaghetti was surprisingly good and went well with the ribs. Potato salad was standard. I had the Cornish hen with BBQ beans and coleslaw. The hen was cooked well, tender and good bbq flavor throughout. Beans were sweet and ok. I didn't care for the slaw but that is just personal taste and I'm sure others will like it. Overall it was good and worth a try.

Ok this place was listed #1 for bbq in Memphis and I expect it to be some what great and I will not return ever. It's like a bunch of kids playing around with food. The cashier girl was rude and I mean I almost walked out but I stayed. I had the beef yuk and the rib tips yuk yuk! The manager walked by and she asked the table beside us how was everything but she never asked us. Anyway I am from Kansas City and I know BBQ AND THIS PLACE IS NOT IT AT ALL SORRY FOR ONE STAR MAYBE IT WAS A BAD DAY for them I didn't even take the leftovers home. The picture is the leftovers.

Life-changing! I'm forever changed! Lol Best BBQ I have ever had! Wow...beans and potato salad are also delicious! There were smoky and falling off the bone. Get the hot flavor ribs. We went and got another slab, that's how good it was. The sweet potato pie is also very good too.

TRIPLE TO RIGHT OVER THE FIRST BASEMAN'S HEAD!! "We're here every day!" Grabbed lunch the other day here with some friends who also work downtown. I've been eating here for years and it's a solid choice. There was a fire or something here a few years ago, but they rebuilt it and it looks awesome. I had the smoked half chicken and it was CRAZY good. It was flavored well, fall-off-the-bone meat, and it had juices pouring from it. Wow it had a great taste. I had the slaw and corn for sides, and both were solid. The service was fast and friendly, and the renovated space is poppin. I hear the bbq bologna is good as well.

Excellent food! Cornish Hen is not my normal food, but based on the reviews and photos, I gave it a try and I'm glad I did! The Cornish Hen was juicy and perfectly cooked. The potato salad and baked beans were a delicious complement to the bird. It's not a big meal, but it's got big flavors! Don't let the exterior scare you. This is not a place for decor (however, it IS clean and well lit), but that's okay, we were passing though Memphis and needed to get back on the road. Next time, I'll try the ribs!

This is one of the famous places for BBQ here. We actually landed and went straight to Cozy Corner. You stand in line to order and right away you are tempted with cake and sweet potato pie. We resisted the urge, but even as I'm writing this review, I'm regretting that pie!! My husband ordered the pork sandwich with bbq spaghetti and baked beans. I ordered their famous Cornish hen with potato salad and coleslaw. The main dishes were great and I could eat that mild yet spicy bbq sauce every day. The sides were fine but not outstanding. I would eat here often if I lived here. Very reasonably priced.
