To die for excellent service, food, assistance (you need more napkins; not a problem).

Beautifully crafted and tasty food. This restaurant is an absolute gem that brings serious flavor and fun to the table. My partner and I received attentive and wonderful service, and, I appreciated the extra touches that the wait and kitchen staff made to make our 2nd anniversary extra special. I enjoyed the Bufallo with Lobster Béarnaise and my partner enjoyed the Diver Scallop with Crab Risotto, for dessert we shared . All of the dishes were to die for and were prepared with the upmost care, I will definetly return to try other dishes.

Hidden gem! Unbelievable experience, fabulous staff, rich meals. Menu changes seasonally. Veal and lamb were perfectly cooked. Mr. Jensen came over to say hello. Valet parking available.

This is hands down one of the best restaurant (excuse me establishment) in Memphis. The total package of dinning.

The night was a birthday celebration. Service was top notch. Food superb. Started with Foie Gras, salad was asparagus with toasted prosciutto and parmesan dressing. Yum. Main course was Buffalo Tenderloin with lobster bearnaise. The flavors rich and appealing on the palette. Speaking of, pallet cleanse before main course was a lemon ice, and finished with a raspberry souffle. The temperature of the meat was spot on. From the bread to the dessert everything was quite nice. Cozy, but a little cold in the dining rooms, for me. Plus it is January. Even the coffee was a treat. Thank you for the toasted cheese salmon croquet. What a treat.

Impeccable food, large wine selection, and attentive service create a special restaurant for memorable meals. It is a cozy spot that offers European dishes and a unique interpretation of American entrée with meat selections including elk and buffalo. The specials are creative, and your challenge may be what to choose. The sea bass with fresh dill, carrots and greens was perfect. The walnut bread is amazing. My colleagues enjoyed their elk saying it was tender and not gamey. The waitstaff alerts you that some deserts will take 20 minutes, showing that the pastry chef is actually making your dessert to order.
The wine selection offers good pairings and the servers assist with solid recommendations.

This is a place for enjoying fine food and taking your time. Great for dates or business events. Highly recommend.

My son and I drove from Nashville to eat here. We had to ASK about the courses we were served because it wasn’t shared. The food was mostly on point with the exception of the cold Mero Bass we were served. Also, we would have LOVED to have the Sommeliers input on the bottle we bought but he didn’t come to our table.

Erling Jensen is one of the best restaurants I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy, and I’ve done quite a bit of traveling. It’s an experience complete with creative dishes that inspire your own creativity and the best service in town. I highly recommend the tasting menu if you can get it. My husband and I got married at brunch, and after a quick rest, our first married stop and treat for ourselves was Erling Jensen’s tasting menu and wine pairing. You will spend a pretty penny but it’s worth every bit and more. Memphis is lucky to have Erling.
