Just an okay experience. The atmosphere is great and the location is in a good spot for parking but they also offer valet. The service was okay, he wasn't very friendly and just seemed to be hasty. The escargot was cooked well but really needed more bread and more butter in the murky broth. Maybe this is more authentic prep, but I've had it many times and it wasn't my favorite. The scallops were large but overcooked. My husband said his was just okay. Overall not that impressed and not sure I'd go back.

Ben is a great server, and I apologize for my tardiness for this review. The food was great. I ordered the Dover Sole Meuniere, and it did not disappoint.I was so deep into my dish that I did not remember what I my wife ordered, but I do remember that she had an after dinner drink while I chose the Brandy Alexander. We were both very satisfied. Please stop by if you're in the area and feel impressed with their menu.

Had reservations at 7:40. Arrived on time & no one greeted us for about 3 minutes or so. We just awkwardly stood around. Then when the host sat us, we didn’t get a server for about 8 minutes. It was a very unwelcoming experience. The servers just walked by us. I got up & politely asked the host if we had a server. I truly believe we would have been sitting for even longer if I didn’t. Finally one arrived. The food was very salty. Nothing particularly exciting about the dishes. In addition, both our plates had chips on them, which is odd for a fine dining place.I understand mistakes happen, but for $125 a person, I would expect a more welcoming environment. I was a server in the past & I would have never let someone just sit around as I walk by. No one even acknowledged our presence. It was a very embarrassing experience, as I was trying to show my partner a good time. I probably won’t be back.

Ordered the prefix menu, they brought the meat course before fish course AND forgot the ribeye someone else ordered. Drinks took a long time to receive. Lots of apologies but no effort in making it right...even after no one ate the fish dish. We would never ask for anything to be "taken care of", really expect the restaurant to make their mistakes right.

The fois gras was good. The halibut with shrimp was cooked perfectly and had a very delicate sauce that allowed the fish flavor to shine. The bison stuffed quail was interesting but could have been more flavorful (after the fish) by having the bison cooked with a little cumin or cinnamon. The lamb was excellent with the brown sauce. The desert was marvelous with interlace layers of philo pastry, raspberries, and chocolate. K9We skipped the wine because my wife rarely drinks much and red or rose (or any wine with sulfites) gives me a headache. I asked for a Bloody Mary but they were out of tomatoe mix!? I substituted a Tequila Sunrise, which was good enough that I had another.Service was impeccable. Both my wife and I were very pleased, and she even ate all of her helpings, including an amuse-bouche of bison at the beginning (just ok) and an excellent little scoop of lemon sorbet on the middle. The restaurant is a converted home. So some areas are quieter / more intimate than others. For this meal we were seated in a more open area, which was somewhat noisy (due to other diners).

Top notch staff. I suggested it to a CEO/ friend from high school who i hadnt seen for years in town to check on his franchises as someplace MEMPHIS SPECIAL as was his request. EJ filled that description. Drinks were impeccable. The staff is some of the best in the city. Full of information, advice. Like, you are an honored guest in my home, level. We had a lot of food. He ate like there was no tomorrow until the Bleu cheese mashed potatoes and he realized he didn't like BC. Lol. I thought they were divine. Crabcakes, yummy. Would have liked some green win the watermelon. Elk!!!! Even better the next day. My lamb tasted underseasoned, and I would possibly go medium well instead of medium next time, so that was disappointing, but I still ate it all by the next day. And I don't remember if it was carrot or sweet potatoes mash/souffle with the lamb, but it was so good. Great experience, excellent for a special night.Parking: There is a lot across the street. Not sure if you can park there during business hours.

My husband and I had a reservation (we’re from out of town) for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! From the ambience and complimentary valet parking, to the food & our wonderful servers, and the sweet & thoughtful celebratory message with dessert; our dinner was amazing. The intimate nature of the dining experience at this venue, including other patrons in the dining area we were seated in, made everyone’s occasion even more special—complete strangers take the time to acknowledge everyone’s experience as important (e.g., two tables were there to celebrate birthdays and received well wishes from other tables/individuals dining separately). This is such an amazing all-around experience from beginning to end. Thank you everyone!
