Food and atmosphere was great. Interesting concept having to order myself and wait for our orders. Only downfall of this place is the huge amount of fruit flies. We had to swat at them the entire meal. That part was not fun!

The food looked great. However, it lacked flavor. You have to take your order on their computers, one person cooks, serves your food, and cleans the tables.

I was downtown and needed a quick bite so I came in here because yelp said they had sushi. But the sushi options were really limited- the menu itself is pretty small- so I ended up just getting a rice bowl. It was just ok, even with the added egg. It just didn't have much flavor. I ended up using the sauce from my vegetable roll and that made it taste pretty good but as is it was rather plain. There weren't really anything that appealed to me here so I cannot see myself returning. Ok:- Appetizer: Fried Vegetable Roll - Bowl: Fam Fried Rice Bowl

The food here was ok. The dumplings were good. The sushi was ok. The bowl I had contained shrimp and chicken. The shrimp was great but the chicken seemed like cut up Tyson chicken nuggets.

The cashier was nice to tell us they didn’t have any sushi. But I was a little disappointed because they didn’t have a sign on the window to tell people they were out because of the sushi getting delivered

My coworkers and I love fam, but we've learned that they don't include onions and carrots at all anymore in the bowls. I understand that they've added pickled cucumber and green onions, but how can you make fried rice with no onions or carrots? We will not be returning.

We were looking for something local near our hotel. We found this place. We took our order to go and were pleasantly surprised. The sushi was yummy, and the rice bowls were bigger than we expected.

The appetizers and sushi were the stars of the show. Best veggie egg rolls and tempura shrimp. They were out of the Tuna Nigiri, but the rolls were still very good. We also tried the fried rice, teriyaki chicken and shrimp bowls, all of which included very generous portions.

We loved the sushi but the salmon was a bit dry. Prices are reasonable and the team is very nice! I would go back ?

I took out my dinner through Uber eats! I got the curry flavored chicken and substituted the rice with fried rice. After getting it delivered, I discovered the fried rice was not there! I understand that mistakes happen. And I’m fine as uber eats got that money( charge for the substitution) refunded to my credit card. The food was wholesome and flavorful. I loved it until I discovered a FISH BONE from my chicken and rice! Eww! I don’t know, maybe it’s another mistake! But I’m concerned about their food safety and security. If they would have mixed a fish piece I would understand. But the fish bone was mixed in my meal! Is it kind of contamination by mistake? I couldn’t eat the remaining portion!

I went here around 7 pm on a Sunday. The lady working the front taking orders was not enthused to be there. I am finding this as very normal here in Memphis. You must know that this is a fast food place. You get your own drink, plastic ware, napkins, etc. they get nothing for you. I had chicken bao buns and a teriyaki rice bowl. I paid with a credit card so after swiping my card, the lady turned her screen around and there were 3 choices for a tip which was 25%, 20%, and 15%. Not knowing this was a self service fast food joint, I chose the 20% option. Whatever. The food came out quickly. The bao buns were not fresh. I think they reheated pre packaged buns in the microwave but over cooked them. So they were not soft and steamy like they should be, but rather hard and tough to chew. And the chicken inside of them was dry. Not good. The rice bowl was good but there needed to be more sauce which has been mentioned a few times.

When you want a quick takeout situation with fresh ingredients consider FAM your local local for that good good.

We order lunch for work here a lot! I'm allergic to seafood, so my one kidding star is due to the lack of variety of non-seafood options. I rotate between the teriyaki chicken bowl (which desperately needs more sauce) or the beef udon curry bowl (which has just the right level of spice in my opinion - I like things medium usually and that's what they deliver). My coworkers do love the seafood & sushi options, but epi-pens are expensive so I'll take their word for it.

Got takeout in the evening. Excited to try out this place for the first time. The salmon salad was pretty good! Wish the salmon was seasoned more but the greens and the dressing was fantastic. The shrimp tempura bao bun had great flavor but it was very dry and could have used more sauce. The shrimp and crab sushi were both solid but nothing remarkable. The ratio of rice to shrimp was quite high which made it dry overall.

This is a very plain looking place but the food was actually good! The teriyaki salmon bowl with brown rice was delicious! It's great for lunch or a light dinner. I enjoyed their thinner cuts of salmon rather than one large undercooked piece like restaurants tend to serve. The shrimp tempura was actually not tempura, but it was really good and I ate all of it. The sauce went great with it. The veggie egg rolls were a no for me. They were very clearly frozen egg rolls from a generic frozen food manufacturer. You can tell because they had that frozen food texture and flavor. I would come back for lunch but wouldn't order the egg rolls.
