If you love fish, then you’ll love this place. One caveat is that it mainly serves river, lake, and freshwater fish — though I’m not 100% sure.

Nice place to eat. The environment is nice and the food is good. I ordered a Jambalaya that was good. The gumbo was great too.

I don’t usually do a review but the food was so bad I have to inform others to be careful going here. I had the so called jambalaya and fried cat fish. The jambalaya tasted like tomato sauce out the can with no Cajun seasoning at all. The gator caso tasted spoiled. I don’t know how you can mess up banana pudding but they did so that should say a lot. In a 8oz cup I had one teaspoon of pudding with nothing but whipped cream. I asked him if I can get another cup and the cashier came of the cash register didn’t wash his hands after handling cash to fix my banana pudding with no gloves. And he also took my plate I had on my table, I could have coughed all over and put it on the prep bar where he fixes the food. So Ik just watching there is a lot of cross contamination going on. So beware eating here hopefully the owner see this and makes a big change!!

Quick spot to grab some good food. My only issue is that they didn't give me the option to get a different side with my catfish tacos. Rice and beans doesn't make much sense with catfish tacos. The banana pudding had more whipped cream than pudding

Absolutely fantastic! I had the whole fried tilapia and it was hands down one of the best fish dishes I've ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside and incredibly tender and flavorful on the inside. The location is perfect, right by Beale Street and across from the famous Peabody Hotel. The atmosphere was lively and the service was excellent. If you're in Memphis and looking for a delicious meal, you have to try The Flying Fish!
