Folk's Folly Prime Steak House

Exceptional serving of filet mignon, cooked perfectly. Service was friendly but not intrusive. Celebrated an anniversary and received complimentary dessert. We'll be back next year!

We had a wonderful experience with our Anniversary dinner at Folks Folly. The service was over the top and the meal was amazing. My steak was cooked to perfection. We would highly recommend Folks Folly for dinner.

This restaurant never disappoints! The food was beyond delicious—every bite full of flavor and perfectly prepared. What truly makes the experience unforgettable is our amazing waitress, who always goes above and beyond. She makes us feel so welcome and cared for every time we visit. Between the incredible service, warm atmosphere, and outstanding dishes, it's easily one of our favorite spots. We can't wait for our next visit!

The service and food were absolutely incredible. There was a live pianist during our visit, which really set the ambiance tone. The waitstaff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the management even came by to wish a happy birthday.

Steaks were average. Watching a fight in the parking lot upon arrival didn't set a good tone to our supper. Service was really good. My strip was tough. Filets were average at best. Spinach and mushrooms were good.

Deborah provided excellent service! She greeted us warmly and wished us a happy anniversary. The steak with blue cheese and fried shrimp were delicious!

This was my 1st time dining at Folks Folly. It was my birthday and I wanted to try thier food and drinks I must say everything was very good it meet my expectations.

While there are four fine food steakhouses in East Memphis including Fleming, Capitol Grill and Ruth's Chris in addition to Folks Folly, the best is the latter having dined at all four. The service is exceptional, the portions are copious and the food is creative and meticulously cooked. My wife prefers rare steak but is usually served something closer to medium. Not at Folks Folly. The chef understands what rare means. The desert menu is extremely limited, but the portions are such that you won't have room! The service we received was incredibly prompt despite it being a Friday night on a holiday weekend.

Our waiter Chris was attentive but also allowed us space when we needed it. All the food was excellent - the tenderloin appetizer, our steaks and sides (sweet potato mash and spinach casserole). They gave us a delicious caramel cake cupcake for our anniversary that we were celebrating! Will definitely be back for special occasions.

We had a wonderful date night at Folks Folly. We ordered the she crab soup, double wedge salad, ribeye steak, the blackened salmon with a Chipotle glaze (off menu item), spinach casserole, and garlic potato casserole. Everything was delicious and our server June was very attentive with outstanding service. Thanks again!

I enjoyed this steak house so much! Everything was delicious, from the shrimp cocktail to the filet mignon. They steak fries were colossal and they got the temperature of my steak correct, rare plus! Everything was seasoned to perfection , I didn't need my usual bearnaise sauce to go with my steak! A wonderful gem In Memphis, we will definitely be back!!!

Everything was wonderful!!!! I hate they ran out of lamb, but my birthday dinner was great and Corrine is the absolute best and sweetest!! Outstanding service with her!

Great food, I had the shrimp and my wife had the Maker's Mark Medallions, and fantastic service. It was my wife's birthday. At least 7 or 8 people including the manager came by to wish my wife happy birthday. She was thrilled. I will certainly recommend Folk's Folly to my friends

Waiters were attentive throughout the whole night. Food arrived quickly but some of the food was not up to standard for the price.
