Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

I came to the drive-through last night (08/01) at around 9:30pm, waited to give my order at the order screen for a good 15 minutes. And no one ever took my order. I asked several times if anyone was there very loudly, but politely, and still no response. This is extremely poor service considering there was literally no other cars in line, so they were not busy at all.

Eventually I parked and went inside to speak to a manager, but never saw one.

Refuse to answer the phone call

They were out of frozen custards and all things ice cream related. Turned away at least three cars while we sat and waited on our burger.

Freddy's is a really cool place to grab a bite to eat! Their main thing is these yummy, thin, crispy-edged steakburgers. It's like they smash the burger on the grill to make it super flavorful and a little bit crunchy around the edges. They put it on a soft, toasted bun, and you can add all sorts of your favorite toppings like cheese, onions, lettuce, and their special Freddy's sauce, which is kind of like a tangy mayo-mustard mix.

We ordered a milkshake and a custard. First they told us they were all out of vanilla based custard or vanilla milkshakes. We said that was ok as we’ve always been pretty happy with Freddy’s. First, I was shocked to see how tiny they are for a regular. It fits right in my hand. Then, they were 10% below the cup line. I’m used to a generous amount filling the plastic. There was nobody in line and nobody in the restaurant and we still waited close to 10 minutes just for a concrete and a shake. not the experience I expected.

I don't know if it was an off day for them but the food wasn't prepared very good. I like Freddy's but think I'll be avoiding this location from now on.
