I USE TO LOOOOOOOOOVVE COMING HERE WHEN I WAS YOUNG,,,,AND WHEN I WOULD GET OFF WORK,,,,1 OF THE BEST SOUL FOOD RESTAURANTS IN THE MID SOUTH/SOUTH MEMPHIS!!!! I DROVE BY THERE LAST YEAR AND IT LOOKS LIKE A ABANDONED BUILDING I HATE IT IS NO LONGER HERE??
If you want a fancy looking building there's plenty of franchise restaurants around that meet your needs, But if you're interested in fine country cooking / soul food this is the place to be. An all you can eat buffet with three types of chicken, meat loaf, neck bones, sweet potatoes, yams, okra, black eyed peas, greens, corn bread, and peach cobbler, all at a reasonable price. The staff was super friendly and took great care of us. They really appreciate your business. We'll definitely be back again.

Food was okay. Doors supposed to open at 11:30 it is open till 12:15 and the food wasn't ready until 12:30
I made it there around 2 pm but it's closed. Will need to come back for the buffet

Go...right now!! Without question a hidden gem AND Best Sunday Brunch in Memphis. This is the place that your grandmother AND most likely your great grandmother would have eaten at. Just good soul food...great service....at a more than fair price. You will WANT 2nds AND 3rds. EXCELLENT!!

a good variety of foods for the soul
It took me back to my childhood. Made me think of my grandmothers feast on Sundays. The cornbread and peas and turkey neck bone. You can't get that just anywhere. The sweet tea was so good. Fried chicken was excellent. Then there was peach cobbler. Oh my goodness. I think we may drive back to Memphis just to eat here again.
