Fresh hot food, made quickly. A great diner experience to cap off your visit to Graceland.

I’ve traveled to many places and I hate to have to say this but my experience here at Gladys diner today was the worst experience I’ve had. There is absolutely no organization when you order. They have several different stations with no organized line. It’s just complete chaos. The staff making the burgers were very unfriendly and acted like they were dying when I have my order. There was only one cashier and the line to check out was extremely long. The food got cold while waiting to check out. I know this was a busy weekend but they should have been prepared and obviously wasn’t.

This is a cafeteria. Nicely themed, and convenient while onsite during the tourist thing, but still a run of the mill cafeteria. If you need a quick bite before/after a tour it serves the purpose OK I guess, but definitely not for the food. Kinda like theme park food, which I suppose it is. We had a slice of pizza each and it was inedible and expensive at that. Kids will probably like it, and if in a hurry to make a tour time or something it is probably the closest thing. Didn't expect much and that's pretty much what I got.

Food is good. The service is bad. They have ghetto lazy people working here. The staff is miserable. If it was my business I would fire them all. After a wonderful tour had to deal with the lazy staff. They have an attitude and some are clueless some on phones and rather be elsewhere then here. Lucky some of the food was good. Fries were cold. Peanut butter banana sandwich was very good.

It was better than the reviews would suggest. It’s not a fancy place, but neat and clean with reasonable options and prices. Cafeteria style hot dogs pizza burger sandwiches etc. They have beer and dessert as well.
This is a cafeteria-style restaurant, where you order at a counter, pick up your food with your tray, and pay a cashier at the end. We just got some sides as snacks after our tour, and it was all good, nothing outstanding, portions were decent and prices not as high as I expected. The fries were the best thing we tried, hot and fresh. We ended up eating outside because it looked like the staff was having a hard time keeping up with cleaning the tables.
Vegetarian options: Well, the famous peanut butter and banana sandwich is an option. . .

Gladys’ Diner is a neat looking place with a booth built out of an old Cadillac and great background music. The food is good but mostly sandwiches and sides. The service is not very friendly. They do go through the motion of taking your order but seem like they would be happier to not have to be there.

The food was great the servers were horrible but the atmosphere was friendly ordered a cheeseburger with fries and asked for a cheese cup and everyone looked at me like they have never heard the word cheese Cup in their life even though it's something they served one of the servers got mad at me because all I asked for was the cheese cup and they gave me chili cheese fries and still after not listening to just requesting a cheese cup they tried giving me another basket of fries with cheese on top and I didn't want that I just wanted a cheese cup

Very similar to IKEA restaurant. You go between stations and order what you want to have, drinks at the end and then you pay at a cashier station. So not a real restaurant where you sit down and order and the meals arrive at your table. Very basic however I liked the food and the location is 1⭐. Ok, if this place would be somewhere else I would not go. Very happy to have this place here and get some energy and to sit down for a while. 3 hours behind us and two to go, 5:30 total with the lunch break. Fairly priced and good food.

Food was good and atmosphere was awesome, but the 15 minute wait for a cheeseburger was not what I expected.

The diner was interesting with a retrofitted car that you could eat in. I did enjoy the grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich which I just had to try.
It is cafeteria style, basically where you go around and make your selection and pay upon exit into the dining area where you can sit and eat.
I did have to have milk with my grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich. However, the two cartons of white milk that I purchased were expired by four days. Fortunately, I did not get sick from drinking about half of the first before, noticing the expiration date. They did, however, replace both with two fresh cartons and apologized.

Visited on a very slow day. Ordered a a sandwich and fries. Others in my party received their food, paid and were eating before I even received my chicken sandwich. I was told the fries would be a while as their manager "was on her way back with them. After 5 more minutes, they suggested I pay and eat my sandwich and just come back up for the fries. Ate a cold sandwich which at least tasted okay, then went back up to check on the fries. They had switched some personnel but one employee recognized me and put my chili cheese fries together. I ended up tossing them as they were so soggy from clearly way too much chili and cheese. Unless you are touring Graceland, there are much better options in Memphis.
Parking: You cannot access this restaurant without paying for vehicle parking in their lot, even if you are parked on the public road out front and wanted to walk in.
