Most of the staff was rude, overwhelmed, and did not know how take orders. A few staff members were friendly, the cashier was helpful and gave us some tips. The chicken sandwich was pre-cooked and dry. The onion rings were crispy and good. The ice machine was not working, the coke machine was out of most drinks. They had not refilled the condiment station. When you asked about refilling or fixing machine they were not helpful. They definitely are not trained on how to handle a lunch rush. Keep in mind we were there early before the rush started and still waited for our food for over 30 minutes for burgers. Then our fries came out first, so they were cold by time got the burgers.
I would recommend the bbq across the way
Great food and atmosphere! If you need a bite of food, stop on in here!! Purdy goooood!!
Kids saw actual jukebox and ate out of an old car. We were able to share Elvis’s favorite snack of fried peanut butter and banana sandwich with them.
For a themed restaurant (usually not good) surprisingly the food here wasn't bad at all. Enjoyed the chicken burger and fries were most tasty
We went in and it smell bad… we expected a diner but this is truly a cafeteria.
So is Vernon’s but Vernon’s was delightful

Fresh hot food, made quickly. A great diner experience to cap off your visit to Graceland.

I’ve traveled to many places and I hate to have to say this but my experience here at Gladys diner today was the worst experience I’ve had. There is absolutely no organization when you order. They have several different stations with no organized line. It’s just complete chaos. The staff making the burgers were very unfriendly and acted like they were dying when I have my order. There was only one cashier and the line to check out was extremely long. The food got cold while waiting to check out. I know this was a busy weekend but they should have been prepared and obviously wasn’t.

This is a cafeteria. Nicely themed, and convenient while onsite during the tourist thing, but still a run of the mill cafeteria. If you need a quick bite before/after a tour it serves the purpose OK I guess, but definitely not for the food. Kinda like theme park food, which I suppose it is. We had a slice of pizza each and it was inedible and expensive at that. Kids will probably like it, and if in a hurry to make a tour time or something it is probably the closest thing. Didn't expect much and that's pretty much what I got.

Food is good. The service is bad. They have ghetto lazy people working here. The staff is miserable. If it was my business I would fire them all. After a wonderful tour had to deal with the lazy staff. They have an attitude and some are clueless some on phones and rather be elsewhere then here. Lucky some of the food was good. Fries were cold. Peanut butter banana sandwich was very good.

It was better than the reviews would suggest. It’s not a fancy place, but neat and clean with reasonable options and prices. Cafeteria style hot dogs pizza burger sandwiches etc. They have beer and dessert as well.
This is a cafeteria-style restaurant, where you order at a counter, pick up your food with your tray, and pay a cashier at the end. We just got some sides as snacks after our tour, and it was all good, nothing outstanding, portions were decent and prices not as high as I expected. The fries were the best thing we tried, hot and fresh. We ended up eating outside because it looked like the staff was having a hard time keeping up with cleaning the tables.
Vegetarian options: Well, the famous peanut butter and banana sandwich is an option. . .

Gladys’ Diner is a neat looking place with a booth built out of an old Cadillac and great background music. The food is good but mostly sandwiches and sides. The service is not very friendly. They do go through the motion of taking your order but seem like they would be happier to not have to be there.
Vegetarian options: A few non-meat dishes
Dietary restrictions: Ask about restrictions before ordering
Parking: Large paid lot for the park
Kid-friendliness: Children welcome
Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible

The food was great the servers were horrible but the atmosphere was friendly ordered a cheeseburger with fries and asked for a cheese cup and everyone looked at me like they have never heard the word cheese Cup in their life even though it's something they served one of the servers got mad at me because all I asked for was the cheese cup and they gave me chili cheese fries and still after not listening to just requesting a cheese cup they tried giving me another basket of fries with cheese on top and I didn't want that I just wanted a cheese cup
