What a great meal. We ordered a little of everything: several entrees and several sides/apps. 4yo and 8yo devoured their meals. Fresh, vibrant ingredients in large portions. Service was fast and so kind. An excellent experience.
We love Global Cafe! They are always so welcoming and willing to accommodate my dietary restrictions (vegetarian with a tomato allergy). The menu has lots of vegetarian and vegan choices. We love the Black Bean Burritos, Black Bean Tacos, Plantains, Elote and Hibiscus Tea. Their Elote is especially phenomenal! It's the best we've ever had. Then there's the Margaritas. Juan makes the best Margaritas at a very reasonable rate, but please be warned, they are STRONG....
I recently visited Global Cafe, and the food instantly took me back to the comforts of home, something I’ve been craving as a Memphis transplant. The shrimp ceviche was light, flavorful, and bursting with freshness—the perfect combination of tangy lime, herbs, and juicy shrimp. The tostadas were perfectly crisp, and the creamy avocado was the kind of simple yet satisfying touch that made each bite unforgettable.
