Oh. Good Fortune. How I love thee.... Let me count the ways... The vibe is really like none other in the beautiful, historic, love filled, City of Memphis. There is a really cool noodle themed mural that runs along the entire wall that took me three or four visits to realize it was all just a bowl of "noods" in art. There are little noodle dudes playing throughout it. The music is loud, it has a hip hop flair to it that just adds to the whole Memphis vibe. The tables are jam packed and I have never been there when it's not completely full. This gives me a great feeling of togetherness when I'm here. The mixture of patrons is that in which I do not believe you will find anywhere else in Memphis. All kinds of ethnicities, genders, and socioeconomic status, can be seen here. You are close enough to just have a conversation with the people around you and see what they had to eat. ;) I love the staff. Talk about even more diversity! There are so many types of people working here. It's hard to describe, you just gotta go. I think this helps add to the charm that brings in so many different customer backgrounds. They all work together to get you some great service man. Food is fucking killer! All of the things I've had were absolutely fantastic. They make the noodles here every day fresh and do not allow you to get them to go, as it would not be anywhere near the same experience if you didn't eat them right as they hit the table. Speaking of that, food comes to you as it gets ready, not all at once. Be ready for that My favorites are GFC Wings, Impossible Rolls & Dumplings, and the Potato Dumplings. I struggle to get away from them and try new things because I crave these things each time that I leave. I must branch out! I MUST BRANCH OUT! '24 - 37/100

All I can say is I'm so glad I tried Good Fortune again! Food was delicious, service was top notch, overall good vibes here! If you're vegetarian the tofu bites are to die for! Simple yet addicting & if you're vegan you have to get the Coco Curry, shred up those basil leaves and throw them back into the broth .

We made this a destination on our road trip after seeing it on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Totally worth the 700 mile drive!! Awesome food, excellent atmosphere, and most of all wonderful, friendly staff!! Absolutely recommend the Big City, crawfish dumplings and the wings. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!

Best place in Memphis to eat hands down!!! My husband and I were in Memphis for two weeks and tried several places but we kept coming back to Good Fortune! Fresh and delicious!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!

The food, the bar service, and the ambiance of this place was absolutely nothing short of amazing. I was visiting Memphis for an event and decided to have a late treat. I was shocked to find this Vegan enfused spot open late. I ordered ice cream and une cake. Had my doughts about the cake and WOW was a proved wrong. The vegan Ube cake was light, packed with flavor, I could not stop eating it. So delicious. Hats off to the baker. THE BEST VEGAN SPOT IN DOWNTOWN MEMPHIS.

One of the better experiences I've had in a while. I've grown pretty tired of seeing menus with things like mashed potatoes with gochujang, or croque madams with chili crispy on top...so I was happy to see western flavors in dumplings, etc.Cocktails were amazing. Great flavors, well balanced. Their take on an old fashioned with pandan really stood out.As for the food, didn't try any noodles, but everything else we had was very satisfying.

The food was so delicious. I would recommend the chicken and rice bowl and the fried chicken. The hand-squeezed lemonade was very fresh and delicious. Definitely worth the time, effort and money.

Came here with my family because it was one of the few places in Memphis where everyone would have something to eat (2 of us are vegan) while we were visiting. We were not expecting to be SO AMAZED by the food. I tried the honey butter tofu, the impossible dumplings, and the cukes for our starters. They were all good but man, that honey butter tofu was PHENOMENAL - crispy and buttery and sweet. For my entree, I ordered the coco noodles and my husband got the kung pao tofu - both were flavorful and great. The kids ordered the Big City and said it was great. Thank you so much, Good Fortune, for having such amazing vegan options. Favorite meal in Tennessee.

Terrible experience. We requested 3 seat table and after waiting 30 or more minutes the guy just had the awesome idea to ask if 2 chairs and the kid in the lap would be ok because they would t have e 3 seat table at all. Did we speak a different language? There's a reason why we asked 3 seat table. I wouldn't go back because there's always ridiculous waiting time and there are way better places around this one with a way better customer service.
