I could gatekeep, but I won’t. Looking for some catfish on a Friday? This is where you go. Go BEFORE 2:30/3:00 or you risk it being sold out. But the food is always good. I get the fish, yams, and cabbage. They ain’t ever missed.
This place was super busy for a very good reason ~ the food was delicious. The line moved quickly. We ate in ( luckily, there was an available table), most everyone else got theirs to go.
Only a handful of Meat and Two+ places in Memphis and this is one of the better ones. There’s a serious amount of carry out, which says there’s a loyal following out there. Cozy dine in area if you want. Fountain drinks. Family friendly. Serving sizes are good and I left feeling full. Enjoy.
