Good vibes, good music, great service
Google ratings were right…this place was great! We stopped in on our way home from vacation. Friendly, excellent service. Burgers , fries, okra, and onion rings were all delicious! Don’t let the outside appearance fool you…this is a hidden gem with a great atmosphere. Would definitely stop again when in the area!!
Went to a Friday night ZZ Ward show a couple of weeks ago
They must have lost their liquor license !
No cocktails, only a lousy selection of beer.
The sound system was awful that night.
i enjoyed my previous visit ..:food, drinks and sound system was on point! I will plan to visit again…I hope they can pull it together.
Saw Mike Cooley solo, acoustic.
Great show.
It was my first time going to the Hideaway. The band, Jack and the Fat Man, was totally awesome. I will go back to listen to them again. The service was great, and the burger and fries I had were delicious. It was a great experience.

One of the best music experiences we had while in Memphis. We stopped in on a Sunday in August after touring Sun Studio - the tour guide had recommended we check this place out for their music on Sunday. The atmosphere was laid back and easy going. The bar was full but there were some tables open and a couple seats we found. We ordered a couple beers and some fried okra and wings. The food was ok. The music was awesome! There was a cover charge for the music but I think you can dine on the other side of you don’t want to see the bands - not sure tho.

This was, undoubtedly, one of my favoritest nights in Memphis! ? Many Thanks to Jeannie, Steve and Louis Brown (the winner), Bill Cherry for his judging expertise ... Cote's DJ skills ... WE HAD A GREAT TIME!!

We came in from Maryland and absolutely love this place. They had the best fried pickles I've ever had in my life. The grilled cheese was top notch. Also, enjoyed the signature drinks, especially the Elvis' Pelvis. I would go back here every night if I could. The 2 ladies "working" the door were amazing. I am going to tell all my friends to come here.

Restaurantji Recommends
We stopped by at 5pm after our Graceland Tour and a 10 hour drive from Texas. Google said "restaurant opened at 5" Due to a concert event the bartender said "[they weren't] opening until 7 but [he would] feed my family." THE BURGER WAS THE BEST DAMN BURGER I'VE HAD IN A LONG WHILE!!! Good ol honky-tonk atmosphere. Not the best for family, but my kid is 14 and pretty punk rock. Staff is SUPER COOL!! Building is historic. The place is RAD! I forgot to ask the bartender's name, he was the best! I did get to thank the cook, he deserves a raise! GOOD TIMES! I'm sad we didn't get to stay for the show, as we were traveling to Nashville. My only complaint is Dale Watson wasn't there, but he was on the TV.

The website says they're open every night Wednesday to Sunday. I was driving home from the RGV in Texas to Toledo, OH & stopped to treat myself to a birthday dinner. IT WASN'T OPEN!!! I even called & the message said to come on down since I wanted to verify I wouldn't be wasting my time. But, I did!!! Google maps even states it would be open until midnight!!! ??? All I got were pictures of an empty building ???
Divine Delight: A Heavenly BBQ Bologna SandwichIn a world where culinary experiences often leave one seeking something more, I stumbled upon a revelation at hernado's hideaway diner – the BBQ Bologna Sandwich with Cheese. This humble creation transcends the ordinary, offering a taste that borders on the divine. From the first bite, I was transported to a realm where smoky barbecue flavors mingle with the comforting richness of bologna and the creaminess of cheese. Each element harmonized seamlessly, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. But what truly sets this sandwich apart is its subtle, yet unmistakable, religious undertone. As I savored each mouthful, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude, as if the hands that crafted this masterpiece were guided by a higher power. It's as if every ingredient was blessed with a touch of celestial magic. The bologna, sliced just right, embodies the essence of redemption – taking a humble meat and elevating it to a celestial status. The cheese, melted to perfection, serves as a reminder of the comforting embrace of faith, enveloping the sandwich in a warm embrace. And let us not forget the barbecue sauce, a divine elixir that imbues the sandwich with a righteous tang, leaving a lingering sense of fulfillment long after the last bite.In a world filled with culinary chaos, the BBQ Bologna Sandwich with Cheese offers a sanctuary of flavor, a testament to the power of simplicity and faith. It's more than just a meal; it's a spiritual experience that nourishes both body and soul.
