First time checking this place out and I was not disappointed by any means. Great music, love the atmosphere and the decorations, and the food was amazing. I had the catfish and fried okra and it was some of the best I've ever had. The homemade tarter sauce was amazing too. Drinks were on the high side as far as price goes with beers being almost $10 and bloody Mary being around $15 but it was worth it. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone. Perfect date night place and even better double date place.

We came in from Austin to see Dale Watson and his band perform a swing show. It was more fun than we have had in a while. The prime rib was tender and had great flavor. The band had everyone moving in their seats (limited room for dancing). The club displays pictures of people that have played there and made musical history, such as Elvis and B.B. King. It was cool to see the history of the place. We will definitely be back.

This is the place to be, if you are looking for a nostalgic venue, with great food. Atmosphere, and a vibe that just feels like fun. Clean establishment ! The worst thing about Hernando's Hideaway is having to leave when the party is over. Every time I have been to The Hideaway, it is an escape to another era.

Love this place! Great atmosphere, good music! Food is down home comfort food. The don’t serve pizza and no smoking inside allowed. The owners are super cool and attentive. A slice of history hugs the venue, almost feels like stepping back in time to the good ol’ days. Highly recommend to anyone
