Been there once and my first impression is not good. It was a special event and there was food offered. I didn't eat but several from my group did and got sick later. Some kind of food poisoning. Not sure where the food came from since they don't seem to have any kind of real kitchen there.

Not the place to go if you want to watch the big game. I went to watch a game that they advertised, but the connection would keep freezing up and they had to reboot several times. Missed most of the game. The bartender was at a loss. Another time I went they had the same problem. Nothing had changed.

Bartender lied about prices. I think it was the same one that had the surgeries. I won't be back. Don't want to see the t girl.

We used to come here more often & always had a good time. Then we moved out of the neighborhood, so now we only stop in once in a while. However, the last couple times we came here we were overcharged. Both times it was the same bartender. We asked around, & apparently she has had some cosmetic surgeries. I guess this is how she’s getting them paid off.

They offer a lot of different beers here, but not the brand I drink, which is pretty common in other bars. Instead, they carry a lot of odd beers I would never be interested in. Speaking of weird, the bartender who stares at women is alive and well here, however he only does that until his girlfriend comes in. Then suddenly he’s on his best behavior.

I thought I should post a weird experience I had here. The guy behind the bar seemed ok when we first got there and ordered beer. But when I tried to order another, he just sat there staring at me. I repeated but he just kept staring. I finally got him to respond, but he seemed to move in slow motion. At first I thought he may be hard of hearing, but I think it’s something else. If he has some sort of disability, I don’t think he should be running a bar by himself. He’s too creepy.

We’ve always had fun here until recently. It seemed that our tab was always higher when one certain bartender was working than with others. The last time it happened I asked to see an itemized receipt. She said she couldn’t do that at first, but when we insisted, we could see that she charged us full price for beer that she’d told us was on discount. When we reminded her of the that, she denied she ever mentioned a discount. We asked for the manager and she told us that she was the manager and wouldn’t give us any other contacts to file a complaint with. I hate to stop going there, but we certainly won’t be back if she’s working.

Used to be a pretty cool place. But since they’ve been under new management, they no longer do draft beer for parties, they’ve done away with a really cool Christmas tree decorated with different unusual beer cans, & their prices have become too high.

“It’s small, it’s cheap, it’s hip… but mostly it’s small.” That’s been their slogan for years. I don’t know how “hip” it’s ever been, but their prices used to be very reasonable. Nowadays, however, they are priced as high, or higher, than most other bars. Maybe the slogan should now be, “At least it’s still small.”

We love this place! We just picked up a Loaded Pizza. They only use the freshest ingredients and the staff is friendly and funny. Always a pleasure!

Our first time there. Friendly service, excellent food and a great atmosphere. Small town feel in the middle of Memphis.
