I went to try a new restaurant today Hog and Hominy with my wife. The atmosphere was delightful we were greeted and seated promptly. And I was starving and couldn't wait to try the food. For the appetizer we had crab claws which were delicious. My wife had a salad with steak on the side and no complaints. However when I got my burger and fries it was a different outcome unfortunately. A burger and fries I think is rather simple but my burger was very soggy and salty, some people might say oh that's the juices and how it's made. But usually when I try something I dismiss and never return. I'm not saying don't go there I'm saying make a better burger.

Check the menu before you go. Seasonal. Not much protein in any dish on menu when we were there. Tasted good. Loud.

My first time visiting this establishment. It's tucked away, so I had never heard of it or ever driven by. Walked in, was immediately and warmly greeted by the hosts. I loved the table I was sitting at for a party of 1. It took about 15 minutes or so for the waiter to take my drink/ meal order so that was a little annoying. However, when he came, he was polite and attentive for the remaining time. I ordered the GF pancakes. They were honestly the best I've ever had! Both tables on each side of me were also complimenting their food. LOL! This restaurant has set a very high bar. I'll definitely be back from brunch!

Good, service are astounding, the design of the dining area lends itself to uncomfortable noise levels and echoes making conversation difficult.

My travels to Memphis lead me to this Hot spot, H & H is and appears to be a Jumping pizza / bar restaurant. The pizza and salad I tried were very good and sometimes we think that these culinary creations wouldn't be found in some of these destinations I've traveled, but surprisingly, this makes the true treasures we find and leaves a good feeling about our find. My server got lost for a while, and didn't let me know about my drink order until I enquire about it. Granted, this place was busy but this is where a server is to manage their tables and not have 15 minute gaps of disappearing. The set up in the H& H was different, but what ever works for them, this is a busy place and timing for dinner should be known, expect a wait or have a reservation. Overall food is good 👍.

June 29, 2025. This is my first time visiting Hog and Hominy. I was there for the Sunday brunch and it was fantastic! I loved everything about the place. The food was wonderful. The biscuits were heavy, hearty, and delicious. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was wonderful. I had a truly terrific time. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Usually have good service and food. Yesterday’s service at the bar was disappointing and the food was too. My friend’s food was barely edible and we felt like the staff could care less that we were there. We didn’t hear a thank you for coming from anyone. Could use a bit more hospitality.

Not a bad place Pizza’s are good servers and bartenders while not busy are not in a hurry. I do respect that they are working hard But lots of conversation going on between working. Pizzas are great

Wanted to go here for my birthday. I hadn't been in years since I left Memphis. The remodel looks so awesome which really hyped me up even more. I wish I had taken a few pictures but here goes... I also dont know if this is bc we came at 11ish or what... I had talked up the poutine to my whole family. It came out like barely warm. By the time we passed it around the table it was room temp. Then I saw days before yall had these crab claws on the menu, so I knew I was gonna get that. They were so so tiny for $30. They were good but such a small portion and so little meat. I saw another picture on here and it validated how small they were. Pizza was awesome and I enjoyed my Spritz. I hope these things were just a sign of wrong time long place. The server was great also just very very hovery. I recommend you guys often to People so I hope this was all a fluke. Peace and love

I had been wanting to try this burger for quite some time. It is the John T Edge Burger and they serve it at lunch. It was fantastic. The burger was hot and fresh and the bun was warm and toasty. The fries were crispy and hot and salty. It's not a cheap cheeseburger but it is very very good. I saw several other customers getting this burger and the other dishes that came out looked and smelled very good as well. I would definitely return here for sure
