Hog and Hominy never disappoints. A few of my favorites are the Thunderbird pizza, crab claws, wedge salad and the burger.. the atmosphere and service always exceeds my expectations.

I really wanted to like this place. I’ve heard about it for years before I finally went. It wasn’t for me. To start, I absolutely can’t stand a business with horrible parking. I had to park at a salon a little more up from the place then walk in. The pizza options were extremely limited and I also had a difficult time understanding the menu in general. I got one of their spicier pizzas and shared amongst the group poutine fries and other pizza types, and I just wasn’t super impressed. The drinks are good though! But this place is very expensive.

The crab claws, meatballs, and romaine salad were all really good. We also tried the pig ears, which tasted like pork rinds, and the Thunderbird pizza, which had a mix of spicy and sweet.
Overall, it felt a bit overhyped, and I don’t think I’d be a repeat customer. The service, however, was good.

I have been here for a dinner and brunch now and it does not disappoint! The pepperoni pizza with honey is UNREAL! For brunch we tried a little of everything. The sausage balls are an MUST, I could eat 78. The poutine was amazing. Everyone near me was eating the burger so we had to try that. It was very good. The shrimp and grits were good also! Such a lovely atmosphere and great service !

Working out of town. Heard about this place from a local. So glad we did! Our bartender, Lauren Felkner, was the absolute enpotmy of hospitality. One of the best bartenders I've ever encountered. Even after traveling all over this planet. Her and the support bar staff wrote down their favorite spots for us. All service was fast and friendly. This place really has it together!
Food - we left more than satisfied. Talked about how we'd back again and bring our dogs to their heated patio. We are here for another month, it will be our local until we leave.
Cocktail were great too!!

Food great. Food service great
Bar service awful. We had to flag the bartender down for both ordering drinks and to pay. Never checked on us.

Hard not to love this place! Every single staff member is kind and engaging. I have been going to Hog and Hominy for years and it makes me so happy that they have continued to experiment and expand the menu. I went for brunch on Sunday and had sausage balls, fried artichoke hearts, and the short rib! I also highly recommend sitting at the bar and chatting with their bar tenders - they have amazing suggestions and hilarious stories!

Food is good, though the menu is cryptic, the descriptions make it very hard to understand what a dish is going to be. Very noisy in the main restaurant, so not great if you’re hard of hearing. Parking can be a challenge. Our table service was not great, but that’s probably a one off, it seems well run overall. Don’t want to seem too negative though, it was a good meal and a good evening. Certainly worth trying.

I went to try a new restaurant today Hog and Hominy with my wife. The atmosphere was delightful we were greeted and seated promptly. And I was starving and couldn't wait to try the food. For the appetizer we had crab claws which were delicious. My wife had a salad with steak on the side and no complaints. However when I got my burger and fries it was a different outcome unfortunately. A burger and fries I think is rather simple but my burger was very soggy and salty, some people might say oh that's the juices and how it's made. But usually when I try something I dismiss and never return. I'm not saying don't go there I'm saying make a better burger.

Check the menu before you go. Seasonal. Not much protein in any dish on menu when we were there. Tasted good. Loud.
