Colorful esthetic before you walk in. To the right is where the band plays, there’s a bar and tables. We were sat and started with the mozzarella sticks with ranch. At a glance they looked average. Very good for a crispy, crunchy bite. The ranch was a creamier ranch that tasted homemade. He ordered the Old Tyme A1 Burger and I got the Bluff City burger with tots.
The first bite of the burger was gushing with flavor and juice, enough that we needed napkins right away. Every bite was consistent. The tots had a good crunch and they put their seasoning on them, then dipped in ranch. Bomb.
Bought some merch and will be back.

Visited August 25th from out of town. First time here. Both of us had the Bluff City burger with fries. It was a good burger, cooked correctly, and tasted good. Visit lasted just long enough to eat, max 30 minutes. Service was ok. Friendly, even staff that were not our server. Everything came quickly. The problem came when we received our bill. Our server (I did not remember her name) added an 18% gratuity to our bill, even though the menu says a gratuity will be applied to groups of 7 or more. We were 2 people who occupied a table for a half hour. I normally tip 25%-30% when I go out to eat, as I don’t do it often and have been a cook, and server/bartender in the past. But I DO NOT appreciate being scammed by waitstaff. If she wants to add gratuity on a check that doesn’t meet the proscribed criteria, that’s as good as choosing how much she wants to be tipped in my book. If I could have, I would have given less than the 18%.
Very nice service-oriented service. I had the Little Miners Trio - three small, very hand-held different burgers. I ordered sweet potato fries with it, which were also very tasty. All highly recommended.

We are in town for a wedding and decided to order takeout online for the family. We were Incredibly disappointed in the food. To start, you cannot complete your online order without leaving “gratuity.” Your options are 15, 20, or 25 percent on a pick up order, you are forced to select one of these options if you’d like to finalize your order. There is no way to select a different amount, or to bypass the gratuity option.
The food - I ordered the melt medium well with onion rings. The Onion rings were so soggy and greasy that you couldn’t pick them up without them falling apart. Same goes for the burger. The bread was wet with grease, the burger was cooked somewhere between rare and med rare, and the tomato was still green and hard. If you are going to offer a temperature choice on your burger, it needs to be cooked accordingly. Anyway, my whole meal went right in the trash. How this place was voted the best of anything is beyond me…
We won’t be back, and I’d recommend anyone reading this not bother going in the first place.
