Order from grub hub/seemless didn't go thru but when I got there, the cashier was very nice and took my order. He gave me a complimentary drink from the fountains. The sweet tea was okay. The salmon was a tad over cooked but the sweet potato fries were good. A little too much pepper. The asparagus was okay but maybe needed to be cooked a bit more. The Caesar salad was tiny. I would never buy that again for $4.99. I used the cup for lemonade, but made an Arnold Palmer while eating the fries.

My dining experience at Humdingers was exceptional, warranting a five-star rating. We began with the calamari and Asian coleslaw, both accompanied by perfectly balanced dipping sauces. The calamari was notably fresh and expertly prepared, showcasing the kitchen’s attention to quality. For the main course, I enjoyed the grilled fish tacos paired with roasted corn on the cob. The tacos were vibrant, flavorful, and crafted with fresh ingredients, making for a delightful combination. The standout dish, however, was the shrimp and grits, which surpassed any I have previously tasted in both flavor and execution. I highly recommend Humdingers and look forward to returning for future visits. The quality and care in their dishes make it a must-visit dining destination.

I normally don’t post anything but this I had to share. I got off work today and had a slight headache and wanted something different for dinner so I went to Humdingers, 6300 Poplar Ave. I placed my order and the person behind the glass window was just standing in the kitchen and of course I was curious, I watch this man open his dip can pull out his bottom lip and placed his dip in his mouth. Picked up the tongs to move some chicken then picked up my veggies for my sandwich with the same gloved hands he used to dip. I quickly asked for a refund and spoke with the manager who showed very little concern about this situation. I will never go to this place again.

I’ve used them regularly over the last few months for corporate catering, and the food is always exceptional quality. Humdingers has been a huge hit with the staff as it’s something different from chicken nuggets, sandwiches, or pizza. Jennifer, the catering manager, makes the order placement painless for me!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I first ate here in April 2025, and got the blackened chicken Caesar salad it was perfect. The second time I came here was Tuesday, July 8, 2025, and got blackened chicken Caesar salad and it was perfect and consistent with my 1st visit in April. I decided to come on July 10, 2025, to get the blackened chicken Caesar salad and it was dusted with blackened and tasteless. I brought it to the attention of the manager and she gaslighted me saying they cleaned the grill the night before instead of taking ownership that it was not prepared properly. As a result, I got a refund and left. So on July 11, 2025, I decided to give them another chance. They messed it up again. The manager is going back and forth with me, instead of taking accountability and making it right. Instead of leaving with my blackened chicken Caesar salad to go, I left it there and walked out. I will NEVER GO AGAIN, inconsistent tasteless food and bad customer service, and bad management. I am attaching videos of both bad visits.

Years ago I enjoyed Lunch at a place called Humdingers. Fresh & Delish, lunch was always a delight. One day they closed, and today I found out they just moved to a better Location! Sure, the menu has changed over the years, but what I ate today confirmed Humdingers still got it going with their Piri-Piri Fish & Chicken (and Veggies). Yes, East Memphis is blessed with a myriad of dining choices, just saying Humdingers hits the spot when good food is needed.

i go here at least once a month. normally the food is cooked perfectly but the last 2 times it hasn’t been. today, 6/16 at lunch time, my salmon came out so undercooked i couldn’t eat any of it. the time before that my chicken in a wrap was still very pink.
Always a quality meal. I got tilapia with piri-piri mushrooms, grilled zucchini and rice. My wife got crunchy fish and chips. It's been a while since I've been there, but I remembered squeeze bottles with different sauces -- no more. Convenient location at Massey and Poplar.
