I really enjoyed my first (of many to come) experience at Los Pilares Mexican food. I had the Chipotle Chicken w/rice and beans. It was delicious and a generous serving. Next time, I'll take pictures to add. Service was top-notch, fast and friendly. 5 stars, highly recommend, and most definitely will be back. Please don't change. Like some other Mexican food place on Summer Avenue did.

We arrived and felt immediately unwelcome as soon as we were seated. It turns out that they were to close within 45 minutes.
Within our short visit, we were rushed in our service. We were denied service because it was too close to closing- without telling us that closing time was coming. Had we known, we might have had the opportunity to show our own consideration.
The order was incorrect. The food was fresh, but not to the taste of the person who didn't get what they ordered. There was no offer to correct the order.
As it was, we were made to check out as vacuums swirled and our waitress denied more beverages. We will absolutely not be back.
Parking: If the lot is empty, don't go in. They're either closed or disinterested in serving you.

It was pretty good! The portions felt huge to me which I greatly enjoyed and the food tasted great! I think I just miss the food from Texas ♡. The service was swift and diligent. Our lovely server kept an eye on my aunt and uncle's tea and kept them filled and even sent us off with a to-go cup.

I called this location at 5:18 pm on August 11, 2024. Whoever was answering the phone at that time must have been having a bad day or something, because they treated me rather rudely. As I began my order, the woman talked to me in a very impatient tone and was acting annoyed when I told her what kind of meat I wanted in my burrito because she failed to even ask that detail. Her tone was so rude and uninviting that I don’t ever want to support the location with my money.
I am typing this review from the Los Pilares on highway 70 because their staff is much more friendly and inviting than that of the stage road location.
Service was great, food was fantastic, first time there and I will definitely be back.

First time here…the lady who sat me was really sweet 1) waiter tall big guy..sort of rushed me to order 2) queso came out cold ..returned it for fresh hot Queso…came back warm but nasty 3 he wasn’t helpful with helping me order …wanted to know what came in a veggie quesadilla no answer… 4)ordered veggie quesadilla & a side of rice with peppers, onion, fresh cooked jalapeños that’s all..they gave me thick cut peppers & jalapeños with onion & mushrooms (I don’t eat mushrooms at all) rice was okay..not fresh and hot …they didn’t even cut the tortilla it was over stuffed with very thick veggies inside a regular tortilla, no seasoning I couldve Made that myself
5) I came Alone for a lunch …was on the phone talking to a friend…a lady comes by and started vaccuming by me as I’m just getting to eating for about 3 minutes straight … if I wasnt striving to be righteous I wouldve Walked out without paying… 6) didnt get checked on but once …waiter would just stare at me a few times from a distance 7) when he came with my ticket I asked Him if I can Take off the $6.99 nasty queso he chuckled at me and shook his head …..the nice hostess took it off for me since I hadnt Touched it… 8) he came back game me my final ticket it was $14.98 and had his hand out for my card…I asked him for a togo drink then gave him my card and ticket …he came back with my drink n I signed my receipt no tip…I say Thanks and as I’m gathering my belongings he flips open the ticket book thing and says “oh no tip” I said Oh no sir thanks tho.. he goes “so no tip” I said No no tip he laughs and walks off and proceeds to tell the other waitress about how I didnt Tip him then as I’m walking out he goes to the table where a fist just sat at and gives her chips& salsa, slams it down kind of and starts speaking Spanish about no tip to the waitresses near him (place wasn’t crowded at all) the customer sitting down says “oh wow sir you scared me” smh
I would never return?also the place looked like an old 2000’S restaurant 0/10 would not recommend
