This place is an eye sore. They need paint, parking lot repair and cleaning. Other restaurant s have upgraded. The price was good value. They have tons of customers. Always a line. Why???????

Sad to say the taste is not the same as years ago, especially the gravy (less seasoning and more flour than original). The service was quick and friendly.

Today, September 4th around 1:30 PM, I stopped for food on my way out of Memphis after visiting family. I ordered a three-piece meal with a large fry and large gravy — and I paid for it. But what I got was a two-piece meal, a small fry, and a small gravy. No receipt was provided, so I have no way of confirming if they adjusted the total.

I’m not one to jump to conclusions, but this feels like money was stolen and I was shorted. Please double-check your order before you leave the window or drive off — because some of these places are skimming off the top and hoping you don’t notice.

I stop there today and ordered the chicken rice bowl. After I got home and thought I was going to eat it. I realized the rice was so hard, it was not cooked it appeared like it was just put in gravy. If I wasn't at home I sure would've returned my order. Will not be returning.
So for anyone else check your food before you leave. I wish I had.
