I had 6pc liver dinner. I also brought two large 16oz chicken and rice bowls and large tea. The livers was really thick and no crust. My dinner was okay and hot. The problem was that my two chicken and rice bowls tasted horrible. I have never experienced this before at this Jack Pirtle’s on Mt Moriah. Omg! The rice was over cooked and Thick and the chicken was hard and chewy. It was hard to chew the chicken in gravy. It tasted like it was microwaved too long. The tea tasted good and sweet. I tried calling them and there was no answer. I had to let them know about this. Me and daughter love the rice and gravy bowls with chicken not hard chicken. These bowls are $5. Money wasted. The parking lot was clean too. I will return again. Please do better.

The workers all have attitudes on the pull up very angry or aggressive every time I go and thats alot because I love all of there food

Just left 6/24/2025’at 9:30 pm Fries was cold and old they dropped the same Fries in the grease still horrible I get all the way home chicken old dry and nasty ,mash potatoes I just don’t want it was I spent $14 on 4 pieces of chicken a potatoes and this was the worst ever

I'm no longer going to patronize them anymore. The one on Highland was the best. The one on Jackson should be closed!! I was surprised about my food at this location. I guess it's a new day and I need to close the door with Jack Pirtle's chicken.

First every customer has to go through the drive thru. There was a man walking through the drive- thru really. That elderly lady on the window is very grouchy and rude needs to retire and go home somewhere . The food was God awful.
Livers were small pieces off the bottom of the left overs .. hard and not worth the drive or money.

I have been going here for years. The last month or so every time I go to the one on Mount Moriah, my food is completely messed up. This time they didn’t even cook my freaking hotdog. Had to show this. Don’t know if it’s new management or what but this is ridiculous. This is a hotdog with chili/cheese/slaw.
