I'm no longer going to patronize them anymore. The one on Highland was the best. The one on Jackson should be closed!! I was surprised about my food at this location. I guess it's a new day and I need to close the door with Jack Pirtle's chicken.
The chicken was crispy on the just right side. It was moist through and through; thenI dipped my fries in that good ol' gravy. Best of all, I was greeted at the window with a great big smile!!!
Best spot for gizzards and their sandwiches have been doin it since before Popeye's blew up and everyone started jumping on that bandwagon. Great chicken at good prices and friendly service--a Memphis institution!
