This was listed as the best soul food in Memphis. BS!! This was horrible. I’m from Louisiana and you would get beat up for serving people this mess. I guess people here have zero taste buds. The fried pork chop was so dry and old, I couldn’t even eat it. The sides were ok but pretty tasteless. No flavor. And what so never you do please don’t get the Banana Pudding. Someone needs their ass kicked over this crap. First of all it was beige. Filled with the cheap vanilla wafers. NOT the nilla wafers and every good southern woman knows you have to use the nilla wafers. It was filled with bananas and cookies with some type glaze on top and NO pudding at all. Please save your money and time. 0 out of 10 DO NOT recommend!!

My first time trying this place was today and it was by accident (His grace🙏🏾) that we ended up here. I had baked chicken 🍗, spaghetti with cheese, cabbage 🥬 and cornbread. My girlfriend had baked chicken, macaroni and cheese, dressing with gravy and cornbread. The dinner also comes with a soda. Even though it was late in the day, the food was still fresh and delicious. This is really a plus because the majority of the soul food establishments food kind of falls off later in the day. I don't know who the manager was or who the owner was or who was family or whatever, it really doesn't matter, everyone was polite and engaging even though it was late in the day. I have to keep mentioning that because it means a lot dealing with soul food establishments. The only negative thing I can say about this spot is don't sample your food on the way to your destination because you won't have any more left for review pictures 😔. I definitely will be going back and probably will purchase two dinners just to play it safe 👍🏾

The MAC n Cheese was hands down my favorite. The rest of the food was extremely good. I highly recommend especially since I can’t cook I would definitely order and take to family gatherings❤️❤️❤️❤️

I learned about this place while in Ghana and HAD to try it. I think presentation and customer service matter, and both were on point. The food was amazing, too. I pray that this establishment flourishes and becomes a staple for Memphis and the community. Mamma, Daddy, and I enjoyed the large servings for two days!

Sad to say this was my first and last time here… I came on my lunch break for myself and coworkers and nobody was pleased with their meals … the macaroni is horrible ! Absolutely no taste or flavor , couldn’t even taste the cheese just straight cooked elbows, yams were so dry and no type of flavor , my co worker said here potatoes were dry and taste like instant potatoes, her meatloaf was dry and didn’t taste fresh … overall we ALL agreed we won’t go back the food on a scale of 1-10 is definitely a 3 we wasted our money on this for sure.
