Unfortunately, I can’t leave a good review on our first time patronizing this establishment. We ordered 3 club entrees with fries and one VIP and a regular tea. The bacon appeared to be old/not fresh. Everything else was decent regarding the sandwich. The fries were awful, I couldn’t even finish eating them. I couldn’t tell if they were old or just a cheap brand of fries. It was a carry out order, so it kind of felt like they just gave us anything. The tea was descent as well. Overall, we didn’t enjoy our food. In total we spent $67, our food should’ve been next to perfect.

I’m a local and King & Union is one of the best restaurants. All the food is delicious. The staff are super nice and the atmosphere is upbeat.

Very friendly staff. Kinda slow to pick up a new customer on a slower night(~7min), but no worries. Ordered a clover club. They didn't know they ratios, but we're willing to make. Didn't have dry vermouth, but I preferred pino grigio as a decent sub. No dry shake, only shaken on ice for a egg white cocktail. A little sour. Maybe watery? Served in a wine glass, which was a little odd(martini or coupe much better). Candy song played more than once within 30 minutes lol, need a longer playlist. But anyway, good liqueur selection, despite no dry vermouth. Friendly staff, inquisitive on the clover club. Anyway, as a GM and bartender I hate rating less than 5 stars, so hopefully this feedback is helpful while being 5 stars ?Edit: I had also ordered a shot of Fernet, and they didn't know what that was, thought it was whiskey, but I let them know it was an amaro, but still unsure. They did ask for feedback, and ended up not actually even charging me, which is extremely nice of them. So like I said, staff is very nice. Staff seemed very open to feedback and improvement ideas. I'm generally very hesitant to offer improvement ideas because I don't want to seem nor sound rude, but they asked for my ideas and input. Again, staff is really nice and open to ideas, input, and feedback.

7:45am, Couldn't find an unlocked door, but could see customers inside. Got a server's attention through the window to open the door, she slammed it open and turned and walked away without a word. I did the same. If that's the level of service to a prospective customer, and one willing to overlook a locked door, then it's going to be downhill from there.

My country fried steak was overcooked and I didn't want to send it back yet everything else was decent. Didn't like the pimento roll. Now them fried green tomatoes was on point though and the spinach
Me and my fiancé was thinking it was still TGI Fridays but we decided to stay and try them out. Well first, the waitress was very attentive and on point. It was after 10 so the menu was limited but I ordered the catfish and my fiancé ordered the crawfish dip. When I tell y’all we been sleeping on this spot! I like the fact that it wasn’t crowded. That dip was the shiz-nit!! Compliments to the chef for sending our food out piping hot. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to King and Union. Y’all must try them!!

I didn’t get a picture of my food but awesome breakfast! I was pleasantly pleased with my meal and the wait staff. The breakfast option I ordered came with meat but I didn’t want meat and the waitress was able to assist me with completing the order that made sense and I got grits and hash browns. Really glad I stopped in here while visiting Memphis.
