Very cute, very quaint. Nice upscale vibe. Only reason not 5 star is because of the very limited bar menu. I ordered my go-to cocktail, but was advised they would but be able to make it and offered me an alternative. Ultimately, this isn’t that big of a deal, but maybe something to point out if you’re use to certain common drinks to be served at bars without being on the menu. The servers were super accommodating and super grateful. Looking forward to visiting separate of a large scale to give a more individual perspective.

Man, I love knife bird. First of all it’s my favorite restaurant of all time. Yesterday I went and I got the board they offer. The prices have stayed the same and the sizing has gone down. I also was told the pick and choose board was “redundant”. That’s literally the only reason I come ?. I went in a date here last month and the sizing of the food was much different. Lots of random changes that suck. I’m just a bit confused on what happened to this place.

First time going here ! Loved it . Atmosphere is soothing and relaxing . The workers are welcoming and polite . They have specials daily . You definitely get your money’s worth . They made a good impression and it looks even better in person. Will be my new to-go-to spot for relaxation, to grab a bite with my homegirls or a date night !

I have enjoyed hanging out at Knifebird many times. I am a wine lover and I enjoy trying different wines recommended by the staff, and I love that the wine selection changes regularly in order to keep it interesting. The wine prices are affordable and their selections are a good mix of familiar and eclectic choices. Their food is very tasty and is a nice complement to the wines, and includes snack boards, bruschettas, salads, sandwiches, and chocolates. I especially love the garlic and herb dip, the deviled eggs, and the brie and jam brushcetta. They have a fun and interactive staff that can help you pick out the wines if you need assistance. I have personally never tried the cocktails here because I always order wine, but I've heard many great things about their cocktails as well. They also have a rotating selection of beer if you're not a wine or cocktail drinker. Great place for a group of friends to gather over a bottle of wine, or for a quiet date night. Have been here a million times and I'll keep coming back!
Parking: There are two free parking lots, one in the front of the building and one to the left of the building. Sometimes between 4-6pm the parking can be a bit crowded, but usually after sundown there is no problem finding a spot. However there are plenty of places to park and walk in midtown.

knifebird TRULY never disappoints. They have all of the perfect elements: wine, cocktails, nice decor, subtle music great service and our favs…charcuterie boards! Over the years, I’ve been here alone, with friends and on dates. It’s literally the perfect space for things I love to do solo or with a buddy. Come for the happy hour, stay for the happy hours.

if you go anywhere in memphis, make it knifebird. our group came in expecting to snack, but we ate every last thing that came to our table. from the friendly staff, to the wine flights, to the charcuterie boards, to the dessert - it was all so so so good! 20/10 this place is a must-visit!!

As far as the wine goes, yes, absolutely go. Great selection, nice people and nice atmosphere...maybe had a slight bit of an empty warehouse/brewery feel.Main takeaway was the overall with food and cost. Food was kind of good and all, snacky. But snacky with entree pricing. The kale caesar had maybe 6 beans in it. 98% kale, 1.25% dressing, .5% cranberries, .25% beans. Charcuterie board felt you could have made 20 of them with a minimum buy if one of each item at Aldi. Toasted sourdough? Judge for yourself.Go for the wine and give it 5 stars.
Parking: Not many spots, shared with other businesses.

Great times at knifebird! I'm glad it's in the neighborhood, it was perfect for an end of day decompress. I love a chill vibe wine bar. It didn't feel pretentious and the wine options were great. Even on a budget, the house wine is great too. My only negative is that when we ordered the small cheese platter, the chocolate was Banana Flavored! I think that's something you need to put on your menu or tell the customer before you bring it out. Not everybody appreciates banana flavored chocolate but it gave us a laugh and added to the experience. Thanks!

Came here on a Tuesday night- service was really really slow even at the bar, could be due to being understaffed or maybe I’m not used to service like this being from NYC and now living in South Florida. Design & space is really really nice & cozy for Memphis- I’d say skip the food & instead just get wine and cocktails here. Food is really overpriced for what you get. Limited menu, ordered the prosciutto sandwich and it had 1 1/2 slices of prosciutto for $14… however, was really pleased to see that they had natural & orange wines on the menu. Tried an orange wine flight & was pleased to try several new skin contact wines.

Great place for drinks and charcuterie with friends! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The hummus is so good! I also love the olive tapenade. I only wish that you got more for your money on the charcuterie boards. We typically end up needing 3+ boards to share amongst the 5 of us.
Parking: Parking is very limited.
