if you go anywhere in memphis, make it knifebird. our group came in expecting to snack, but we ate every last thing that came to our table. from the friendly staff, to the wine flights, to the charcuterie boards, to the dessert - it was all so so so good! 20/10 this place is a must-visit!!

As far as the wine goes, yes, absolutely go. Great selection, nice people and nice atmosphere...maybe had a slight bit of an empty warehouse/brewery feel.Main takeaway was the overall with food and cost. Food was kind of good and all, snacky. But snacky with entree pricing. The kale caesar had maybe 6 beans in it. 98% kale, 1.25% dressing, .5% cranberries, .25% beans. Charcuterie board felt you could have made 20 of them with a minimum buy if one of each item at Aldi. Toasted sourdough? Judge for yourself.Go for the wine and give it 5 stars.Parking: Not many spots, shared with other businesses.

Great times at knifebird! I'm glad it's in the neighborhood, it was perfect for an end of day decompress. I love a chill vibe wine bar. It didn't feel pretentious and the wine options were great. Even on a budget, the house wine is great too. My only negative is that when we ordered the small cheese platter, the chocolate was Banana Flavored! I think that's something you need to put on your menu or tell the customer before you bring it out. Not everybody appreciates banana flavored chocolate but it gave us a laugh and added to the experience. Thanks!

I loved loved loved loved this wine bar! The bruschettas are fantastic. I dream about the one with olive tapenade with whipped feta. The mocktails are so good too. The service is A + attentive and friendly. The ambiance of the wine bar is quiet and a little intimate. Great date night place or quiet evening with friends. Will be going back especially for the olive tapenade.

Great service and selection of wines. Enjoyed trying the flight of wines. Great place for getting together before or after dinner.

The air for happy hour I did find it annoying that the server told me right away I may have to move you if we get a larger party. This is BS treat you to customers who are there with respect and kindness and don't make them feel like second class citizens who might lose their seat at any minute, it was an attitude I did not appreciate. That said, the deviled eggs were pretty tasty, but not the best I've had the cocktails and beers on the other hand are excellent. I'd like to return and be treated a little better.

Came here on a Tuesday night- service was really really slow even at the bar, could be due to being understaffed or maybe I’m not used to service like this being from NYC and now living in South Florida. Design & space is really really nice & cozy for Memphis- I’d say skip the food & instead just get wine and cocktails here. Food is really overpriced for what you get. Limited menu, ordered the prosciutto sandwich and it had 1 1/2 slices of prosciutto for $14… however, was really pleased to see that they had natural & orange wines on the menu. Tried an orange wine flight & was pleased to try several new skin contact wines.

Great place for drinks and charcuterie with friends! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The hummus is so good! I also love the olive tapenade. I only wish that you got more for your money on the charcuterie boards. We typically end up needing 3+ boards to share amongst the 5 of us.Parking: Parking is very limited.

First time here. The atmosphere was nice and the music/lighting was very chill. Plenty of selections of wine and food. The bartender was not very attentive. I will be back and hopefully have a different bartender.

I came here with a friend and had been wanting to try this place for some time. We were there early enough for happy hour and we both had the house wine flight for $9. Three 3 oz pours of a red, rose and a white. I enjoyed the wine. I ordered the house small charcuterie board and it was very underwhelming. I was looking forward to what the chef was going to prepare, as there were a nice list of meats. But what I was served was simply salami. I mean salami? What happened to those other gorgeous sounding meats? There were two rows of thinly sliced salami. I mean, you could’ve given me one row of salami, and one row of something else. There were two types of hard cheeses, drizzled with balsamic, which were good. But not exactly cut to go on crackers. Three very small pickles, and four maybe five very small almonds. Plus six or seven gluten-free crackers. Very underwhelming indeed. For $16. My thought was, where was the rest of it? It would’ve been better if it was served with olives instead of pickles. The pickles just didn’t go with the rest. And some kind of spread would’ve been nice. Like a mustard. Or a little thing of olive tapenade. I might be back for the happy hour flight of wines. But will be sure to eat beforehand.

I was just a little underwhelmed. My experience left me feeling like the service and ingredients need to catch up to the prices.

This is a San Diego caliber place located in the heart of Memphis. Very refreshing to have a high quality bar to sit and enjoy yourself with delicious food especially in Memphis where places like this are rare. The prices are also very affordable.
