This place is amazing. It's one of the few places in Memphis where you get food that looks like it looks on the menu. If you are going I would brush up on your Spanish though. Some of the people there can't speak English well but they are super nice and will work with you. One of if not the best ice cream place in Memphis!

Do not come to this place, they do not greet you and serve you with a bad mood as if they did not want to serve you. And it's also very expensive compared to other places. Better go to Michoacan, everything there tastes much better and the service is superior! It was my second time and both times it was the same. Only Michoacan for me from here on out.

The place is clean and the staff is attentive. The food and snacks are good and you will find fresh fruit to enjoy.? The only downside I find, is the name is misleading because you will not find one single dish that has coconut, they dont sell any coconut at all. Other than that, I will keep coming and recomendating this place with friends and family.??

I waited a few days to write this review… I found this little gem a few weeks ago. They have the BEST strawberries and crema in town. I was so excited to try them out, I brought my family to the spot & treated them all to these wonderful treats. I started to come in regularly just for the strawberries.However, I stopped by earlier this week and ordered my usual strawberries and crema con todo. The girl snaps and said, well if you want everything it’s extra… which is fine, I don’t mind, it’s the attitude I did not appreciate. It just made me so sad because their customer service has been top tier until then.

I must say that for my first time going inside an authentic Mexican ice cream shop in addition to La Michoacana, I was very impressed with how delicious the ice cream turned out to be. I love that Koco Loco uses real fruits because as someone who was once diagnosed with borderline pre-diabetes, I get nervous eating desserts without fruits inside of them.While I wouldn’t go out of my way to pay around $8 for ice cream every time I get out, overall, if you’re craving for a sweet, healthier dessert, then I recommend giving Koco Loco a shot.Muchas gracias to the staff by the way, for being patient with me and for adding an adorable, light and crispy wafer cookie to my ice cream. The cookie especially made me smile. :)
