Sat at the bar and had to wait an unreasonably long time for service, all though there were only two other customers seated at the bar.
When my drink was served, it was made with flat soft drink. When I was finally able to get someone's attention, they remade my dring with flat soda again. They have changed the recipe and reduced the serving size their stroganoff. Place has gone down hill.

No one was there to seat us initially. It took almost 10 minutes to place a drink order. My burger was luke warm. The service was not good.

Management is horrible. Funny thing that you can't have your food the way that you want it. Just because you know what you want and are actually paying for it. I was told by Management that I changed the recipe. How do you change the recipe for a salad? Who knew that changing the dressing would change the recipe. And how do they magically know how much dressing each patron likes. I wonder if I had been white would I have changed the recipe by simply changing the dressing!!!! When you order a steak to your liking well done., medium, or rare, did you change the recipe? Hmmm! Don't go here unless you want the manager deciding how you want your food.

Horrible!!! Don't waste your money. The drinks are watered down. I ordered the wedge salad with ranch instead of blue cheese. My salad was floating in salad dressing. I requested that it be taken off of my bill. The manger came to my table personally to tell me that he would not remove it. So I requested another salad with the dressing on the side. He told me that he would charge me for another salad . WHAT?? REALLY?!?! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Great visit to the Canuck! We were waited on by “T,” and she made sure we had everything we wanted with a smile. It was fairly quiet there for a Saturday, but we did go for lunch.

My husband ordered the Waffle Monte Cristo sandwich, and I ordered the Younge burger. Both were delicious, and of course came with an order of some of the best fries, crispy and salty, not too thick or thin. My sandwich had a soggy bottom bun from the sauce and grease of my burger, so I just didn’t eat it. Overall it had really good flavor and great texture on the top bun.

Their outdoor patio was open (large doors open in the restaurant), so we did have a couple of flies around us but nothing to complain about. They still had fans and A/C running even with the patio doors open.

Parking: More than enough spots for the restaurant

Enjoyed eating there.
Their carved prime rib sandwich with French dip is out of sight, it is so good. Last time I went, I ordered their
Maple glazed salmon with a side of creamy corn and a salad. Ask the server. Could I have the salad first and hold off until I finish it, before you bring the maple salmon. Ask me what salad dressing I would like. I said, what's your best? She said they're all great. So I said, well thinking of thousand island or blue cheese. She said, why don't you have them both. I did. They were both really good. As I finished my salad the salmon showed up, perfect timing.
It was delicious and their creamy corn was a meal in itself. Turns out they make everything in-house.
Oh yeah, the beer was ice cold.
Excellent place to eat.

So this was an interesting experience. Some great, some okay and some scratch your head kinda stuff. We were in the restaurant for about an hour.

We walked in and it was not busy at all. Didn’t know what to do. Was not greeted until we walked about 1/3 of the way in. Owner (easy to google this) was sitting at a table with some guests. He did finally (30-45 seconds)get up to greet us and basically said we can sit wherever we wanted. Basically we were standing just past the table he was sitting at and his back was turned to us. Maybe he thought we walked in and just sat ourselves. He offered the Bar or dining room. Many tables were dirty and there were only about 3 tables occupied. An 8 top, a 4 top and a 2 top that the owner was at.
Took a few minutes after we sat and were given menus to get our order taken. Our server was sweet but we could tell ahead of time she was exhausted. Apparently she is the bartender and doesn’t normally work tables. We ordered drinks and 3 appetizers. Fried Tomatoes Lordy were they good. Perogies and these were delicious. Tasted housemade but server confirmed they were not but they are hard to get because they are so good so we felt lucky to have them. Then there was the Traditional Poutine. It looked amazing. Took a bite and the cheese curds were cold. Hmm. Been to Canada many times. Always had warm melted cheese curds. Server said that the warm gravy and hot fries melt the cheese. She offered to have the kitchen throw it on the flattop for a few minutes. Then about 10 minutes later….. we got the plate back. A little warmer but the kitchen didn’t toss on the flattop. The top looked just the same except a couple curds were squishy. We stirred things up and just finished our meal.
Once we were ready to leave there were a few more tables and the ones that were there when we got there those people had left and the tables stayed dirty. Owner did do a couple table touches but not to us. He did get up from the table with the guests he was sitting with a couple times but most of our visit he sat with them.
My husband is a chef and has been for 20+ years. I am a retired server haha (13+ years).
We know what to expect when we walk into a restaurant.
Maybe this was an off day.

Waitress was amazing. The food was good minus the soggy burger and the raw salmon returned and came back the same way. I won't be back.

We just ate at this location and the burger was soooo salty we couldn’t eat the burgers. The OWNER refused to take anything off the bill nor did he even offer to remake the food but expected us to pay for It. Ridiculous. He even didn’t want to come to the table to speak with us. He just sent the server to do his job. We had to ask to speak with him both times. The way he treats guests explains why the place was empty. I definitely DO NOT recommend this place and will NEVER go back. Crappy owner which needs a lesson in customer service. The server was great! Maybe the owner could learn a few things from the server in customer service:
