Having stopped by Kooky Canuk for my first time, it is definitely a place I would return to. Generous portion sizes, a good atmosphere, and a great cookie dessert I would definitely recommend it for somebody else looking for a downtown restaurant. A good family restaurant, it is definitely an order where you could get good bang for your buck.
Love Kooky’s unpretentious sports bar atmosphere with big food and big drinks. Large comfortable bar along with booths and tables. Prices have definitely increased a lot, but I appreciate how active the owner is in the community and in running his business. They do run some drink deals regularly. The service was meh at best. I ordered the biscuits and gravy which states “biscuits and sausage gravy”. In the south even at a Canadian Restaurant I was expecting white gravy and two biscuits. I was very disappointed to get one biscuit until I tasted it and thankful that one biscuit is all I wasted. One bite and I couldn’t eat any more. It was an abomination of biscuits and gravy and if Canadians feed their family this they should be ashamed of themselves. It tasted...
