Quality is bad now. Used to be great, I ate there for almost a decade.
Since like April or May 2025, they serve you fat instead of meat. We order the same thing for years - pork tacos. One order should be meat only, the other is meat with fresh onion and cilantro. Now, it’s just rubbery lard and no meat. Here are the pictures from tonight’s dinner (July 2025). See the rubber for yourself - that’s all fat.
Disgusting rubber - awful texture. Look at the fat to meat ratio.

Ordered lunch through Uber Eats. They make their tamales with all dark chicken meat. Cheap and disgusting. No flavor whatsoever to the tamales and 2 inch thick Masa on them . Refried beans were liquid overflowing into the rest of the meal and totally watered down.First time eating here and last. Horrible and threw in trash.

Greeted with a smile & were immediately seated. Cold beverages arrived before we were ready to order. The best Guacamole Mexicania was the perfect selection for us to review our dinner options. Wifey had grilled options and I stayed with traditional enchiladas & tamales. We were both satisfied and are looking forward to our next visit.
I'll make sure on my way back to San Antonio, don't go here ever again. The food was a total wreck. No flavor or taste. For second there I thought I had COVID. I didn't taste nothing. Tasteless. The salad was just lettuce no tomatoes. For $18? I should have gone to Wendy's. I literally wasted my frickin time and money coming here. The waiter? She was nice. $18 dinner plate? I travelled frickin 100 miles just to get to this place and was totally disappointed. Next time on my way back to San Antonio, I'll wait to get back to Texas where Mexican food is much better and better quality.
