Came here on a whim with friends for good food. No frills setting, no English spoken either, so mamasan was so very patient with us. Very tasty!

One of the best Mexican meals in Memphis! Everything is very fresh, delicious with a homemade flavor and also the corn tortillas are as good as my mother's. The only bad thing is that they are not open all day, so it is difficult for people with fixed hours at work to come and try all the food. I would like to have the opportunity to come on weekends or for dinner.

They literally have the best Mexican in the city. The lunch buffet is always filled with all kinds of goodies. Today I had the chicken Mole, fried chicken, black beans with cheese, Mexican rice, cheese empanadas and the best tortillas. Definitely worth a trip for some authentic cuisine. Also fyi, it is in a new location down the street from the old location. Still on Summer Ave. Double check the address.

Very welcoming and relatively unknown spot with incredibly authentic Mexican food. While the exterior is not overly welcoming, the interior of the new location is open, airy and spacious. Great owner and staff!

Great food Some days they won't accept credit cards It was an inconvenient for me because that day I happen not have cash on me

I’ll be honest, great food BUT the rude tone from the guy at the counter AND the $32 bill for two lunch plates and sodas leaves me to believe we got ripped off. I won’t be back unfortunately. Sad really

This place was recommended to me as 'the most authentic Mexican food' and I cannot attest wether that's correct but I could taste the love put into the food. A worthy experience.

I have been to Mexico several times, LA and New Mexico as well, I lived in Texas for a year, and I have never had Mexican food better than at La Llamarada.Consistently Grade A, you can really taste the love and care put into every single bite.El mejor de todos, no manches.
