Horrible place. Dirt, bad service ,slow service
The worst SERVICE ever. The bar tender looks like a kid. They just go ahead and TIP their selves without showing the sign of gratituity. The place smelled so horrendous and disgust. This place will shutdown.
Me and my boyfriend ate here yesterday…food was awful no flavor and just not very good at all. It was definitely not worth the $47 dollars we spent only think good was the salsa and the tea!
There were some communication difficulties with our server, we told him four times not to bring our food out until we were finished with our appetizers and had one beer. That didn't happen. every time we would say that, he would say OK then you want two tacos and he wants three. Literally four times. So the service wasn't good, but the food was worse.- marginal at best. Definitely I wouldn't do it again.
Margaritas are 🔥
I cannot lie—the food was pretty good. That was until I got halfway through my meal and found HAIR in my food. I was in a party of seven, and everyone else had an okay experience. However, I personally did not have a good experience.
In my opinion, the piña colada frozen margarita was too strong for me. (I'll take the blame for ordering it—it was mixed with tequila, and I prefer vodka.) Anyways, they remade my food to-go; however, I kept thinking about the HAIR and ultimately decided I wanted my money back.
It wasn’t just the fact that there was a problem—it was the fact that they were very dismissive about my complaints. I asked for the drink to be remade, but that didn’t happen, and I felt like they would do anything to avoid issuing a REFUND. Then, they had the nerve to automatically add gratuity to the price. It's 15% before 8 PM and 18% for a party of six or more after 8 PM.
Personally, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I feel that it isn't worth the money. Go elsewhere. I believe the behavior of the staff is the real problem, and I believe the previous negative reviews were accurate.
P.S. Notice the price difference in the receipts, and the friendly note they left me at the bottom.
They're racist. We had to flag them down to get service, also we sitting at the bar a Mexican lady come sit at the bar and get top service. I ordered a fiesta margarita and the straw were small but the Mexican lady get a tall staw her drink looked like the picture with the lime and orange just terrible. If I could give no stars I would.
The food was amazingly good! 👏🏽 The waiting staff was ok. We got service, but my daughter asked for limes 3 times in the hour we were there and finally when we asked for the to go boxes, she then got her limes. The charge a gratuity off the top. Drinks were never filled up, I guess the service is not up to par because they are getting their tip regardless. This was my first time there, I would go back and give them another try because the food was good, hopefully the service is better.
I love it here!
Watch out for these guys as you eat. We named him Fred as he ran back and forth along the wall. We showed him to the waiter and he acted like it was normal.

There is a reason why this place has a low rating . They might be hit or miss, I Missed. Food order was wrong, had to wait until it was corrected. Then while drinking my below average margarita, there was a piece of hair in the glass 🤮🤢. Nobody wears gloves, the waiters need to be retrained. They are too busy at night and need more help and the chicken taste like Asian or Chinese food. Save your money, and just stick to BBq here while in Memphis (you will thank me later)
I was so disrespected at this restaurant. My meal was wrong first off, but I was going to let that go. Our waiter never came back to offer refills or give us extra napkins (we had 1 napkin!), he came back to bring the check. This place is deceiving. My seat was so ripped it kept scratching my leg. The health and food inspection NEEDS TO GO IN THERE! Lastly, my husband is Mexican, and as I the waiter brought the check I said something about how my shrimp tacos were just crevice. He looked at my husband and began speaking Spanish. This continues throughout us getting to the register. A whole lot more happened (we wanted a to take our large queso home, which we don’t live in Memphis, he brings us a cup. The queso is on a plate and we picked it up and tried to pour it and I mean it went everywhere!!! So money left there. We just said forget it. Just leave it and I look up the waiter and manager are watching us - NO NAPKINS mind you.). We get to register to pay out and I said something about my tacos and service the manager says sorry that I feel that way then turns to my husband and speaks in Spanish. I said NO NO NO WAIT A MINUTE. I KNOW YOU ALL SPEAK ENGLISH! I’m right here. Don’t ignore me please. It was my meal messed up and that’s it?!
Truth be told the food is pitiful and nowhere near authentic. Memphians I’m so sorry that you have to eat here for Mexican cuisine. They hide behind a new banner and sign and their customer service is so poor that they need to have their mommas re-teach them how to treat people.
Spinach dip was horrible, Birria was not perfect, place looked dirty food was really mid ngl This place is definitely horrible
Service was a zero. Host took my drink order after 15 minutes. Server came 40 minutes later to get order brought burnt taco. Gave me my check before asking if it wanted anything else. I did! I will continue to go to cooper location downtown is horrible
Please stop wasting your money at this place. The food and drinks is subpar at best. We deserve better most of their customers seem to be of color and they are just going through the motions. They add gratuity to your bill and then ask for more money.
